Dude- I’m over in California and the only reason I’m here is bc I was sitting next to the river and after an hour or two I noticed how shiny the shore was. I collected a couple solid flakes just sitting there and grabbing them as I saw em, but the entire beach was glittering and I’m almost positive (although I don’t know much about prospecting) that I’ve found a small treasure trove after watching this. Every pan I had was atLEAST 30 flaksss moving around, small things of sand- seemed like an ideal spot with how calm the water was lapping up and all. What do you recommend for dry panning? So much of the beach seemed sparkly
@kellyashworth35365 жыл бұрын
Perfect for showing you don't have to spend tons of money for an afternoon of panning on the creek! On my DIY pants after scuffing up the smooth surface, I took a small ball peen hammer & put in a few rows of dimples. It definitely helped me keep more heavies in the pan during the initial stratification. Enjoy your videos!

Well watched this video a few times... As well as some other videos... I decided to check around the house first... The wife has one of them trowls for the garden... I found an old tupperware container simular to your old rusty to use as a bucket we got some jetdry under the sink... For a pan i found an ol school pie plate at the thrift shop for 50 cents... For a classifier i found one of them strainers for 25 cents... So alittle looking around i spent roughly a buck with tax... Now i just need to figure where gold maybe in my area

I was told to dig out under or behind boulders because gold would settle there before getting washed downstream??To look for boulders sticking out of cut banks, dig them out and dig out the dirt or sand under them, again going back to the first comment.???Getting a brick hammer or a hammer with a pick on one end and try to get into rock cervices to chip material out. Even vacuum out if you can get a battery operated system with a crevice tool.Any thoughts please??Thanks

I just bought my tools today, it was 9,5 euros (a garden shovel (2,00e), two different bowls(bigger 2,00e, smaller 1,50e), a shifter (4,00e. There were plastic ones for 1,5 euros but I want it to last). I don't know if I'll find any flakes, but this stuff interests me and I already like minerals and doing earthy things. I don't mind if I find some beautiful rocks. :) I have watched your channel and PioneerPauly's too.

Hi Mate, That video was great for someone just starting and wanted to do it on the cheap. Check out Blue Dog Prospecting he has just put up a video on the subject. Dennis
