Thanks for the video. I believe the video is not complete. Adding a physical SSD (NVME or SATA) and using the SSD as a bootable Windows OS disk are two different things. Please share a video that you would be able to install OS on the new SSD. Thanks.

Hi, i own a similar laptop but the i5 8th gen version and nvidia gtx1050. I've installed a 8gb crosair ddr4 2666mhz ram in its empty slot but windows only detect 8gb of ram. Do you perhaps know what caused the ram not totalling with the onboard 4gb ram (=12gb?)

Hi thanks a lot for video, I have lenovo Ideapad 330-15ICH Intel Core i7 8750H laptop. The PC was giving a blue screen error and would not turn on. I formatted the PC, but the internal (128 GB) SSD is not visible during the format. I continued by installing the operating system on the HDD, but after turning on the PC, no SSD is visible. SSD not detected? you have to reformat the SSD to see the SSD. Right click the This Pc icon and select Manage-Disk Management-initialize the SSD-reformat the SSD-then u can see the disk. If still cannot, there is some issue with some M.2 SSD which for some laptop cannot detect then you have to return the SSD and change for other brand / or other model such as Kingston UV500 M.2 2280

Those who are asking if there laptop supports nvme m.2 ssd or the capacity if they laptop same as me lenovo ideapad 330 15ich i5 8gen 8gb ram 4gb graphic card. So you can install nvme m.2 ssd upto 2tb. I recently upgraded wd blue 570 ssd so you can do without any problem.

I don't know what is that... @@thebrainpillow950 I believe that it only supports 256gb so I would recommend only using 256gb. If you want, you could always purchase 512gb from amazon, install it, and if it doesn't work, just return it.

So my question is: is there a free slot that can i add more RAM sticks or i need to take one of my modus of 4 GB and add one with more RAM like 8 GB

Usually Lenovo Ideapad have one RAM slot and have build in RAM 4GB. So if you have 8GB usually it's 4GB ( build in )+ 4GB RAM situation. But you can confirm it by opening the notebook and check or you can check with CPU-Z software first
