From the way I see her legend, Kashin Koji feels like she should be a caster rather than an assassin. But I love the robot spider waifu nonetheless.

As far as I can tell, the reason she's an assassin is because here she's a ninjutsu puppet like Danzo. "Hidden weapons" also qualifies a servant as an assassin (Gray)

I want Kojin to have lines with Kirei purely because the way you present him feels like if Nobu took him, he would have been the Japanese Rasputin

There is one additional point I found about Kashi Koji. According to an essay by Ei Kashiwazaki in July of 1612, someone named Koji INSHIN appeared before Tokugawa Ieyasu in Shizuoka City. Ieyasu, who knew Koji Inshin and asked him, "How old are you now?"and Koji replied he was eighty-eight years old. If this person was Koji KASHIN, then it means that he was born in 1542.

Foreigner class has pretty strict standards: you either have to be from space, or you have to be possessed by an Outer God, and Outer Gods don't typically possess powerful mages.

@HunterTraxYourAss Well if you count Voyager, it's technically "associated with space". That last thing is kind of arbitrary, but I guess I don't know that much lore, so 🤷

Considering the somewhat close associations with Nobunaga, I'm surprised they weren't a Guda Guda servant.

When I looked up Koji I found an alternate version of the Nobu/scroll story I thought was pretty funny. In this version, the scroll was enchanted to move and Nobu tried to by it after hearing this (I can’t remember the exact amount.) Koji agreed and sold Nobu the scroll. When Nobu got the scroll it wasn’t able to move, so he summoned Koji to ask what was up. Koji said a magic scroll is priceless and that when Nobunaga bought the scroll, it became worth the amount of money he spent on it which is why it no longer moved. Nobu was upset but let Koji go because to him that reasoning made perfect sense. I don’t know what the original story is though, I too was bombarded with Naruto posts.

I feel like the spider motif is because of Hisahide. Considering Hisahide has a spider motif in most of his appearances in fiction & the fact that Koji summoned an apparition of his wife. Maybe we're seeing Koji as that apparition?

yes that is the reason why koji is genderbent, hes within the form of hasahides wife, which is why his personality is diffrent as well, we might get a proper version as caster
