I bought mine on 11/19/09 checking my email receipt and the green light has been on daily since then and still working like a champ. One of my red speaker wire clips broke so ordering a new 4 wire connector. Stuffed a Qtip and plastic in to keep the wire in contact with the element and works fine till the switch arrives. Going to buy another latest and greatest 2.1 so my home gym will get this one and the new in my cave. I've also had to replace the amp a couple times and replaced several blown fuses when originally used in my big rig sleeper powered by a not pure sine inverter so the power surges blew my amp a couple times until I got a surge protector. Point is if you blow anything it can be replaced. Now home full time since 2017 with owner operators driving under my authority, nothing has failed thanks to consistent power source. They still rock like new.

Thanks for watching and your information. Good updates . I’m still enjoying mine but I did buy a Single Outlet on/off Switch . So I can turn it on and off when I’m not using it .. save a little power . Haha. Thanks .

I had these speakers for years on my desktop computer. Where I live you can't really play your system very loud. With that in mind, it's not worth spending a lot of money on better speakers. The nice thing about them is they don't take-up much space on your desk. The sub-woofer is not overly large either which I placed under the desk. Overall, it's a good configuration if you want a simple speaker set-up where you want to listen to music, game on or just use as general computer speakers. For the sound quality. They are certainly not high end speakers but are "decent" for what you pay for them. The subwoofer actually provides deep bass and will a shake a small room but after years of service it blew out on me where I got a nasty buzz out of it and I'm not one to be cranking the stereo up, so they rarely got pushed very hard. aver time turnign the volume knob resulted in an alloying scratching sound where the LH speaker would cut in and out which was kind of annoying. Would I buy them again? For $150, absolutely for the money they are hard to beat. If I lived where I could turn the volume up high, then I would say "no" and spend money for higher quality better sounding speakers. If I want to listen to music or game at higher sound levels and better quality I bought a separate DAC and plug in a good set of headphones where I don't have to worry about annoying the neighbors.

Mine burnt out after about 3 years. I gutted the electronics and hooked up a cheap amp to get them running again.

@@d1daveoh Thanks for watching and sharing. I have had mine 2 years now but I put a switch on it to turn it on and off .. maybe that will prolong its life a bit . Nice job on the DIY rewire to keep it alive ! Thanks .
