Bro when I was driving it took 6 months to get a great dispatcher and then they trusted me also so I had proved myself and because a go to driver! . Then things started to go super smooth... Hoepfully I am up at Kllm in the next month... have to clear up some things at home first!

The dispatcher I have now is great we haven’t had any issues and I don’t even have to ask to be pre planned she sends me all my loads first thing in the morning and calls only when theirs some changes. Even my first dispatcher was great it was just the last guy.

Hey I had a quick question for you brother. I’m looking to start the academy out here in Lancaster in august and I was wondering if you knew what the rules are on bringing a pet with you OTR. I have an emotional support dog that I would need to have with me, I’ve seen some videos/tiktoks about drivers having their pet with them but I was just wondering if there were any regulations or rules on it that you’re aware of. Hey that’s awesome so KLLM policy allows you to have your PET with you; you just have to pay a fee the only thing I’m unsure about for your specific situation is while your doing your OTR training you’ll be on someone else’s truck. I’m not sure if your allowed specifically during that time that’s a good question though

Just completed KLLM Academy in Lancaster. No aggressive breeds. $500 non-refundable pet deposit. No pet at school / 6 weeks with trainer & first 60 days solo.

I’m just worried about drug test I’m not a smoker I did it in march for Mardi Gras on some special occasion turn up with my fam. But I been clean ever since. And I got a ticket for no seat belt and playing on my phone you think they gone trip about that??

I’m sure you’ll be fine as far as the drug test goes the hair test only goes back 3 months the phone and seat belt I don’t think they will trip about honestly but I’m not 100% on that so don’t quote me lol but I hope to see you out here in a KLLM truck soon.

@@hs9233 I honestly do recommend KLLM to ppl the only cons is when your company you may not like the loads you are given as I’m sure everywhere has that issue as well as the communication sometimes depends on your dispatcher though.

If no apu.. how u keep truck cool or warm hot in cold winter ? do u allowed run engine idle all nite ? that's expensive lot of fuel...?

They have bunk heaters, and yes the trucks can run interior comfort where it starts and stops the engine does get expensive if your lease purchase

Are u allowed the keep the truck on off days or are you able to basically live in the truck 24/7?

So the official policy is if you live within 50min Of the terminal you have to park at the terminal while your on home time; if you don’t then you can take the truck home. Even still there’s nothing that prohibits you from staying in the truck while at the terminal; all KLLM terminals have showers, laundry, TV and some sort of snacks available.

So I personally had both for the most part you’ll keep rolling but there will be times where you’ll only get about 2100 miles

So u have sign a contract and work for 1 year for getting KLLM training to get CDL? Do they actually go by count by miles like some companies - Roehl gotta do 120,000 miles to fulfill their contract. might be take 12 - 15 months w them.. What is cost $ if u quit or leave early.. what is amt of $ Kllm make u pay back ? $5000 or more?

So it’s not a contract but there is a paper with cost they show you if you don’t work the year how much you owe other then that they won’t charge you

No, I don’t know how much experience they require to by pass that but I know when I was doing orientation there was 3 ppl doing it that had prior driving experience that got their trucks right away.

It depends on two things, 1. The account you decide to drive with (i.e. Tyson, Kraft, Midwest regional, Express fleet OTR) 2. How much driving you do (if you drive everyday or off on weekends) For me personally Express fleet I was making 2k a week on average; Midwest regional some weeks 1200 some 1800. Just depends

Yes I believe is it $100 a day so it def best to make sure your truck stays moving or handle repairs during home time

Most of them for company drivers are 62 on the pedal, 65 on cruise control and 70 for smart pass (you can only do smart pass for up to 30min). Lease purchase you are governed at 70.

I was told after completed the 1 year driving commitment contract you will not have to pay back the training cost. Also I hear not to sign a contract because I hear the loan amount will double and will occur interest. I inquired to pay for my training and KLLM said no you must sign a 1 year driving contract
