Yes, it was such a crazy night! Shahrol was so humble and welcoming. We didn't realise he was famous until the end of the night!

Each state in Malaysia have different Sultan (king) and state's government. Because of that, each state in Malaysia is unique in terms of their cultures, slangs and even food. That's why every state in Malaysia love to showcase their specialities, especially towards the foreigners.

Yes! Until this trip we didn't realise this structure. It is very fascinating and we also thought it very interesting that the Sultans take turns at being the Sultan of all of Malaysia.

You need to venture further up in Malaysia, places like Melaka, Klang Valley (Greater Kuala Lumpur), Penang, Ipoh and some traditional Malay states like Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan and Trengganu (for authentically nice people and great food, as well as the cleanest turquoise blue seas and white sand beaches off the islands of Trengganu!) Then you could fly to Malaysian Borneo to visit the world's largest cave systems in Sarawak and endangered species endemic to Malaysia like the Orang Utan, Sun Bear, Pgymy Elephant, Hornbills and the world's largest flower - the Rafflesia, in Sabah and Sarawak.

Hi Clean Energy inside, that is certainly our plan! We've visited a lot of the places you mentioned in a previous trip (Melaka, Penang, Ipoh, Sabah and Sarawak) and this trip we wanted to explore more broadly and go to some of the states on the east coast. You will definitely be seeing vlogs from us from Terengganu and the islands in the next month or so! Thanks for watching and for your tips! - Jon

Hola Mery! Encontramos muchas cosas en común entre Malasia y Nicaragua, especialmente el calor y lo encantadora que era la gente! ¡Aunque no hay tantos volcanes en Malasia!

Great experience guys, is he the first celebrity that you've met?
@BucketListTravellers Жыл бұрын
Hey Jango! He is certainly the most memorable celebrity we have met in recent times! In another brush with fame, Nicole Kidman (a VERY famous Austalian actress) was at our local beach last week. We were only 50m away from her, but we thought we'd leave her alone!

@BucketListTravellers Жыл бұрын
Hi YouCube, Shahrol was such a nice guy and it blew our minds when we saw how many instagram followers he had! Yes, he mentioned he was doing work on Johor Tourism. Funnily enough we just bought a new microphone and we have been having issues with using it! I had to voice over a fair bit of our talking in this video because the audio was so bad. Thanks for watching. -Jon
