I just bought a State Bicycle Klunker I’m going to upgrade because I couldn’t find a Transition. Too late to the party.

Wow, one of my last videos without music, and I'm way to picky now.. There's no way those dark scenes would make the cut now 😂

@Johannes Nilsen - Yeah, it's an effect👍 it was too dark, I had to lighten it up somehow😅

@@thebikehippie6562 😁, for lighting up my videos, I use Shad adjustment, Gain, Gamma, how much and if at all or in which combo depends on the shot, I do alot of that, I adjust each part of the clip to make it more even and realistic, I can use hundreds of key frames just for a few min long video. But if it's too dark I can't brighten it up. But your clips were too dark to do big changes on I guess.

@Johannes Nilsen - Yeah, I don't have great gear for filming. I'd spend some money if my channel was getting more views

@@thebikehippie6562 Gopro is not great in low light, nor most smartphones, for that a proper camera would be better, with bigger sensor bigger pixels, more light, but thsts different price class, and only is useful for third person shots not something you can use as pov camera. But I want a proper camera for filming, photography so I am researching that. All editing software I use is free👌 DaVinci Resolve, for phjitos I use Rawtherapee, Gimp. Very powerful tools.

That trail seems to be the perfect trail for a clunker, but where I live a clunker would be useless, cus of steep hills, but there are some flat trails to ride on, but there are hills too especially on roads, to the trails, even the flat trails and path. Some places the 50T really is helpful or I would be walking. Just too much elevation where I live for a clunker. Not quite like steepest roads i California but some stipp hills for sure, there are quite many. But you will build strength for sure riding a fully rigid clunker. I guess it's doable if walking all the hills, and taking breaks, but pushing that high gear often will tyre me out fast, but I like to push my rides to 4 h or more if I can I basically ride until I can't physically take it anymore, but I pace my self, but with a clunker I would do much shorter ride that's for sure.

@Johannes Nilsen - Oh there's lots of hills to climb here. I zigzag up hills on the road and pedal extra hard on the trail. Extra extra hard😅

@@thebikehippie6562 not possible if there is traffic imagine that in the middle of the road and a car comes. 😬 I saw a vid of someone riding a Dixie up one of those roads in California, the dude came up pretty high he almost got it. But he had a good start.

@Johannes Nilsen - Yeah, I live I a small town. Very few cars to worry about. Do most of my urban riding at night so streets are dead when I'm out👍

You just need to adapt to it. I rode bmx exclusively until 37 years old. My gearing was always 28-30 with a 9 tooth rear. It feel impossible at first, but you will build muscle quick. I dont know the gearing on my 11 speed mtb, but I do know I only use the last 3 gears for the most part. I almost want to go bigger on my front sprocket because I hit top speed pretty quickly and wouldnt mind a little more top end. I am 40 years old, fat (240 lbs) and out of shape. If I can do it, most people should be able too.
