Klutch Kickers Bank Battles - Another Win in the 2JZ E36!

Another banked drift layout with the new and improved 2JZ Drift HQ E36. I used to hate drifting banks - but they're starting to become my favorite! Here is the footage from the weekend.

Shows what a difference it makes for this car, as well. Used to have a lot of issues with temps, drivetrain breakages, belts and so on and partly it's just an evolution thing - you work out kinks over time - but I think the crew being able to focus on the E36 as their main comp car to support on top of the KZbin builds has let them spend way more time and energy on it and it shows. Same as how Adam is doing better at both KK AND FD now that he isn't trying to run the entire pro race programme on top of all the rest

Yea top 5 not happening, FD has about 8 world class drifters. Maybe he will be top 10 one day. And im glad he looks less scared of the rtr hopefuly sooner than later he does better at least constantly in top 16 at least and once in a while top 8

Just a subtle reminder to the "DrIvE ThE E36 iN fOrMuLa dRiFt" contingent: The E36 is far too light and not enough power for FD, making it conform to FD rules would make it much harder to drive.

you forget he's got an extra year+ in the E36 versus the RTR 5D. Yes it hasn't always been at the level it's at now, but he will figuring out the RTR slowly. It's not an overnight thing.

His team built the E36 to suit him and his driving style. The mustang is a massive car and a whole other level. His setup and preferences are not the same as RTRs and it takes seat time to dial it in. He shreds better than just about everyone in both besides other FD drivers.

It would still help on figuring out those runs where they have to figure out who was @ fault. I don't necessarily want POV cams forced on FD drivers, but would be cool if they could use it when necessary. Alot of motorsports have them, but maybe that's because of the type of racing, idk.

dude I luv your journey , just quick ? I know your allowed to use your own cars for outside FD battles , but for practice for future racing with the RTR , can they not set up the demo mustang exactly like your pro RTR and get seat time like that , maybe just for this year as you learn to race for the RTR team , Im just saying as you keep winning these klutch kickers why not do it with a set up as close to pro car as possible, so before I became disabled and started my supercar KZbin and yes JDM too, I was sponsored for street/bowl skateboarding and downhill/slopestyle mountain biking as a AM about to go pro , so if I wanted to learn front flip tuck no handers on my slope bike I would learn them on my DH bike first which made it easier to flip the smaller lighter slopestyle bike, same with skateboarding I would learn tricks on handrails with bigger heavier boards then smaller lighter boards which would be my main set up
