Even during Adam's lead run that driver was all over the place. It's wild that they ouldnt accept the protest. Could they not see at all that Adam's competer was messing up the entire track??? That's some questionable stuff right there. But all and all its what the event is about "GO FAST, SLIDE FAST, CRASH FAST!"

@@jackneil9936 it's a hard call to make without having the actual car data and non excessively delay the event. the protest could of gone either way though. for competition sake it sucked but i think overall it ended up working out because we got a few drivers in the top 8, top 4 that usually aren't there so it was good for them to get the lime light and didn't really effect the points much.

I was just about to say 5 minutes to repair damages is just insane. It takes me 5 minutes to find the right sockets and extensions for one thing😂. They definitely Have a great team.

Lol Ida just sent it on a leaking rad n just shut it off between runs lol It's only water, if the can drift in the rain a leaking rad won't be an issue, just add some rad stop leak maybe 🤔 Tbh I don't understand why they don't have quick release rads, my stock rad u can pull in about 30 seconds, it's just 2 clips and out it pops ,run quick disconnect fittings so u don't lose all the water and also speeds up the process. Though it helps if idiots don't brake check people...

And it is crazy because there is that Red Bull one that is points based and completely scored by sensors and it is accurate as hell and they used that tech for a traditional drift style comp and everyone hated it because the judging is what makes the sport of drifting but then those same people complain about the judges…

typically 3, so honestly, they should've been able to see the handbrake pull in the live footage. that brake check was definitely intentional because he lost his chase run and wanted to move on and try to win and he had to take Adam out to do so. he should've been marked as an incomplete for the first run and the last run as well.

At least clutch kickers judges try to do their best and at least seem impartial. FD judges are absolutely biased against certain teams/drivers. That terribly needs to be fixed.

I agree the 5 min clock is absolutely a crock you expect these teams to repair these racecars in 5 min and still be "safe" when they have 100++ mph wheelspeed lets say we give you 5 min to do a complete brake r&r on your dd then put yer family in it to drive down the highway how safe does that time sound now

Even if you can't get an angle to see the wheels locked up, it was clear his momentum dropped through transition. No hate to klutch kickers but if they want to do a big series they need better setups to catch situations like this. You can't stress driving styles in the drivers' meetings and then not follow up during judging.

Lame excuse by clutch kickers staff about not owning the footage. The facts are out there and clutch kickers was wrong and it's clear for all to see. Sometimes common Sense needs to overrule officials judgments because they are human also. The mainstream media buckles down on wrong decisions too regardless of any evidence presented otherwise, so we're getting used to it.

@@billbry I like the rule of them only being able to use their footage. Otherwise you could get an advantage over other drives if you have a few guys filming. Then it would take more time to present to the staff. This is unfortunately how judged sports go sometimes. Anything that is decided by the human eye will have differences and not always be the same. It sucks but it happens to everyone.

@@billbry If you could submit your own footage during a battle decision it would make the events take more time. I don't think Adam was at fault but with him needing to do a 2 for a chase from his spotter he didn't even have to be there. Split decision from the judges mean it was close but it is what it is. they don't have 20 minutes to decide each battle and honestly most of the people watching weren't at the drivers meetings and are biased towards drivers they like.

Man i was so pissed by the outcome of the situation, it was so blatantly obvious on the second brake check. Dude needs to chill in that car on these more technical courses until he can handle the power of that car. I died laughing when he wrecked on his solo run right after. Looking forward to round 5!

I saw brake lights for everthing except for that final transition because of the brightness of the sun and the smokescreen he was putting off at that moment. However he was DEFINITELY all over the brakes throughout his entire lead run especially through outer zone 2 he brake checked you twice. Next they're gonna start putting GoPro's inside the cars on runs for review purposes. Whether it's Klutch Kickers or FD or both.

It's been a request for years to do this, and to add more data metric recording for proper judging. Yet nothing has been done. So don't hold your breath.

FD shouldn't just install GoPros, they should take a look at the Euro series like Driftmasters and finally get to installing GPS data units themselves. Drifting will always be a judge based sport, but keeping it as fair as possible should be more of a priority than it appears to be right now

The e36 is a much better drift chassis than the mustang, that why Chelsea has tried to make the rtr cars drive as much like the BMW as possible

biggest difference is that with FD they dont really have time to ease into things. with sometimes less than 5 practice runs before qualifying and add the changing weather conditions to that which we've seen numerous times already. add to that that the e36 is probably an 8/10 fast drift car where everything FD is turned up 11/10 and has to be driven at 100% to even work as intended. even when he was driving his enjuku s15 i always felt that he just couldn't get enough seat time to the point where he knows that car like his back pocket. like many competitions, all the time that goes into the competition there's actually not a lot of driving time.

Heres the thing, competition drifting is a small community and there's really not much money to be made (relative to how much you have to spend) so "playing games" just to win a battle does nothing but burn bridges which hurts you much more in the long run. That's why everyone in FD doesn't respect Taylor Hull

They're (relatively cheap) and for situations like this it would make fault so much easier to determine. I'd have to say for me, Adams content is the most enjoyable content on KZbin, that and Vaughan's. For two individuals who broadcast to a broad set of viewers, you carry yourselves very well. Even displaying morals and principals for others to follow, though you are not perfect. How you Adam dealt with the klutch kickers situation and many other situations you faced through your time broadcasting has made me proud to view your channel and see your growth not to mention the progress in your driving from the beginning of the channel. Adam you got robbed plain and simple. For the fact you're probably one of, if not the most honest driver out there.(in my opinion) Coupled with the fact that you have corroborating video. I know you would never but I have to say,"That's some weak tea dude." You would be one of the first to admit if it was your mistake and he wouldn't. The worst it would've done is given you time to make the repair. Sorry that happened. You were in the zone.
