This is why I love K'naan. He doesn't base most of his music around constantly going to the club, getting laid with women while calling them hoes, bitches etc. And bragging about how much money he has. I also like the fact that he doesn't use his past to brag about or claiming to be a gangster. This I've got to say is probably one of my favourite songs and I've only recently listened to K'naan's album "Country, God or the Girl" after several months away from it. The part about Adam kind of describes me in a way although I've become more sociable and I've never taken drugs like pot, coke, speed etc. Along with that over arching message, no one deserves to be all alone, I love that.

It's a hardest way to live in this heartless and unfeeling world. When you wanna be left alone from the unnecessary troubles but you don't wanna be lonely to deal with your own pain. I know I'm 36 years old and have been single for twenty years because of how loveless the world is.
