Hello !!! I really love tai chi , I started last december 2016 and after 2 months my knee started to swallow !!! My teacher said I coud still keep doing , but I stoped . Know I am doing Pilates and strengthing . I will show my pilates instructor and hope I can do this 2 moves ! Great !

I'm glad somehow your video came to me, just recently hurt my left knee which I had orthoscopic knee surgery done on it 5 yrs ago... Don't know what I did to it but It put me on my back... The good news is I'm starting to move a little bit again and very thankful for it I know there has to be a change and I'm ready for it!!!

I completely agree that it can help with knee issues. For most of my young life, whenever I worked out hard took a break and work hard, the first thing my knees did was feel like they were in pain. But every since I started doing kung fu and tai chi, they have never felt like that.

Hip adduction with hip internal rotation not many people understand that. I suggest get some movement of hip joints muscles information help it.

John Pitcher Hi John, yes, to move the center of pressure in the knee, you can make very small movements of the pelvis.

I wouldn't worry, even though it sounds simple it's not. It took me a few months to figure it out, but once you do you'll kick yourself in the head. Best bet is to practice Zhan Zhuang (plenty of youtube tutorials) everyday until it becomes natural.
