This is a Thibs coached team. No defense, no bueno! A slow footed center is a liability for us. If a center can’t guard Embid, Kat, Porzingis or Joker, we don’t need you.

Haha. Hartenstein couldn't defend Embiid by himself. Do we need Hartenstein? We expect a center to defend Embiid by himself? Hartenstein couldn't handle Embiid power but Hartenstein was great offensively and defensively this year. Hartenstein is a very good defender and was the 82nd ranked defender in DWAR. Hartenstein is 250 pounds. He has his limitations for guarding monster centers like 285-290 pounds Jokic and Embiid. 2 hall of famers! Porzingis? I would love to see Porzingingis 240 pounds guard Edey. Edey would send him flying.

I'm okay with him as one of the picks, the other pick I'd take either Ryan Dunn who I think Thibs would fall in love with, or Kevin McCullar out of Kansas if he falls that far, I do feel though Edey is someone you could only play for about 15-20 minutes, I hope I'm wrong though and Edey can play more than that. Johnny Furphy out of Kansas is another option 6 ft 9 wing, I've seen him listed as a two guard , that is tall for a shooting guard, I think you could play Furphy offensively at the 2,3 or at times as a stretch four, defensively maybe guard 1,2 and 3's possibly some 4's

Some compare this draft to 2013, so if that actually becomes true, I think that I'm going to guess that Tidjaun Salaun will be the sleeper in this draft, he will be in my guess the guy no one will see coming just like Giannis was in 2013. Granted I have not watched Salaun as I'm saying this, I'm only guessing, I just feel like the only difference between this and 2013 is I feel Sarr will become a star, Reed Sheppard if lands in the right situation, Rob Dillingham, and then one or two sleepers in the mid to late first round, and possibility one second rounder ( not named Bronny James because I don't think he's ready) , there are some prospects I like in this draft, and some I haven't watched yet, I am not a college basketball draft expert, I do like the two Kentucky guards though ,

I Hart is not gone after the season. Knicks have early bird rights and will offer him 4 years/72 million. The 5 teams with cap space are: Pistons (Duren, Stewart, a lot of bigs), Magic (gonna throw max offers to Klay and Quickley and hope one of them bites), the Jazz (Have Walker Kessler), The 76ers (not spending their cap on a backup 5), and the Spurs (guard focused and they like the Collins/Wemby 4/5 duo).

He's good, but he doesn't have any face up moves, can't put the ball on the floor, not a playmaker, and he is one dimensional. His midrange is non existent. Let's also remember he would have to guard other centers that score like Embid and Jokic. He's not NBA ready. His frame isn't fixed for the league. Heavy feet just to be nicely said. There would be no outlet fast break alleyoop work happening with him. I don't want him drafted by our team

I was thinking that All along.. because we’re definitely losing Harteshtein.. we apparently will need a skilled big man.. The NBA now is made out of skilled big men, who can shoot free throws,and pull up from 3… Look at Boston with Kristap.. Also Robinson has proven is not durable and can’t shoot 3s and can’t knock free throws when needed? I think Zack will take us to the next level..
