I agree, Sims is not productive enough for us. Why is thibs not utilizing his Bench? Kolek needed more time and so does the bench. It’s the beginning of the season and we’re asking for injuries. Personally, I think thibs Needs to utilize the bench a little more before we end up with more injuries. Play the rookies early in the season so we can see what they got. Give our starting 5 some rest and switch the game up.

I agree with everything you're saying on offense Marshal, what's making me nervous, and things I didn't really notice about Kat, he is a very big defensive liability... He doesn't get up on defenders, doesn't do help defense, and doesn't shift.. I don't know if anyone noticed but The Hawks were actually kind of targeting him due to this... Now, this wouldn't be a problem if we had a juggernaut to come off the bench anytime we need hard defense but we don't and between him and Sims no one is scared to charge the paint at any moment, not good

And the offense will come, more and more everyday. .Brunson will get back to Brunson fashion, we just can't have four guys going absolutely berserk with all their energy on defense and then one guy standing in the pain just waiting for rebounds leaving wide open threes with two seconds on the shot clock... No worse feeling .. de moralizing, demotivating , and tiring... Last thing, you need to have like a full practice on how to set a pic, For some reason we just can't get defenders off of Brunson, hawk set good pics all night and were just getting wide open shots

This team is at best a second round exit, no young athletic talent, the roster is mostly near 30 and has no continuity together. They have no athleticism or depth at all and they are injury prone, Mitch is made out of glass and OG will be hurt at some point I guarantee it. Brunson is out of shape and takes a ton of punishment in games. This team is not and wont be at any point this year on the same level as the Celtics.

There was a poll taken about 3 to 4 months ago about "Do we want Kat" and 90% of Knicks fans said NO , leave the team alone . I think most knew Kat was not a good fit for the way the Knicks played and it's showing big time . The team is directionless , passing from everybody is terrible , there is no flow at all . The guys are beyind exhausted in the 4th quarter .

I’m not worried at all. For three reasons: 1) Jalen Brunson has been one of the best closers in basketball the last two years. He is just figuring out how to keep Kat and mikal involved and keep his own rhythm.he will get it together 2) our bench. We are missing 4/5 of our best bench players. Mitch, precious, Shamet, and Cam. Throw in Deuce and I’m comfortable with that, especially with how we stagger the starters minutes and thibs ain’t playing more than 10 anyways 3) the biggest area of concern for me (rebounding) hasn’t been a problem. Towns is able to space the floor while still rebounding It’s gonna take time guys. Don’t start judging this team until AT LEAST 10-15 games in. It’s a long season

All good points - KAT has had moments he looks aggressive on D, and times he puts in little effort. When the offense is set, idea was for him to be at 3pt line able to hit as a 5, dynamic, spreadin the court. Some games he sets at 3 and poor ones back to collapsed paint. Foul trouble is another problem w.o Mitch and stupid fouls, guarding w hands n moving screens

Marshall, you are asking Brunson to change his game. He was and has never been a good facilitator. He’s a shoot first PG. That’s simple who he is. I agree with you that he needs to pass more, but means we have to look at Towns as the first option. I also agree that the team does not look good and the Bridges trades looks like a major mistake. I thought it was bad from the beginning. It’s early, but then team does not look good and that’s cause for alarm. You talked about Kolek, he’s a rookie but he is a pass first PG. that’s why there is better ball movement when he’s playing. Towns is always slow getting back on transition defense after he drives cuz he has to fall on floor after every drive he makes. As a Minnesota fan it's nice to get rid of him . Randle and Divo are great players. Minnesota won this trade hands down.
