Ive seen how to disarm a shooter in front of you. But is there a video or link to handle a shooter behind u. Example sitting in a booth. And your approached from behind... link?

Exellent! I really do fear a knife attack! a knife is such a nasty weapon , but with these tactics it can be neutralised! But one would have to practice it to be able to do it in a high stress situation.

How about continuing his motion across and down pushing the knife into him using his motion and your weight than strike vitals or head butt and run . thanks for all your vids 👍

Most people with come with a 60 deg overhand. Not a 90.Much harder to trap. On the 90 deg,,it the knife is kept facing you or centerline Andrew close to the body, also hard to trap. Bottom line , most disarms will only work on untrained attackers.

Nick that's the major difference between you and other self defense instructors! You show ground reality and real life scenarios whereas other people just tell to do this step, then that step, what a stupidity! Is it possible to remember all the steps at the time of danger?

Good point I’d say come up with one move with variations and practice with a partner until you don’t have to think about it . It will happen and be like how’d I do that 👍 let’s hope this doesn’t happen .

All of my martial arts experience says the knife at close range is more dangerous than a gun and that the best way to deal with a knife attack is to always go to the outside of the arm and never inside as you have too many angles to cover to the inside of the arm what are your thoughts on that ?
@mrx25862 жыл бұрын
Nope - it isnt and If you had any idea what the difference in mortality rates are between a gun and a knife you would never say that. Frankly the difference is so big that the only way a knife can ever be more dangerous is if the gun is effectively unusable ( ie a long barrelled gun and clinching range )

@@mrx2586 You can disagree however ive trained with the man who trains the top Elite military forces in many UN countries and he taught me what i said and i am former US Army myself.
