Just got my first non Swiss Army knife and I eventually settled on the conspiratorrr. So many knives to look through even in my budget. It was tough but fun. I really enjoyed this video. Thanks guys.

I just got Bens baby banter last week and it’s awesome and then a business associate gifted me a customized beautiful conspirator with a titanium clip and cool grey cf scales . It’s so light and action is amazing , impressed . The cf banter is next from knafs . 👍👍

Probably going to pickup a Conspirator. Got an Altus and it confirmed my suspicion that button locks are awesome, now I want the big brother. Clearly super usable blade shape and ergos. Suspect flipper/button will be the perfect fidget combo. It seemed a wee bit plain to me at first but it's restrained charm is growing on me. Wood scales will supply some visual interest. Love that CIVIVI does wood. Kinda wish they would pair the wood with the Damascus more often. (I had a pair of JNCOs; but they were about the least baggy JNCOs ever made. Not much looser than modern Carhartt work jeans. Some of those things almost looked like denim skirts. )

I have 19 Civivis and the Conspirator is my favorite. Better than the Altus IMO.

I am in love with the Conspirator! Wasn’t even on my radar until a couple days ago, when I randomly stumbled on a few reviews. I need one. This will be my next knife…now to decent between the black blade/green micarta or stonewashed blade/black micarta…

if get bullmastiff for sure, i have plenty of practical simple knives. Sometimes you just need a big silly knife.

I could have bought a bull mastiff but I passed. I have three Conspirators (black micarta/stonewashed blade, dark green micarta/damascus, green micarta/black blade). I'm making this comment on 08/23/2024. I've got quite a few other Civivis and I'm more into bigger knives. The surprise for me in terms of carry is the Tranquil. For as long as that knife is, it disappears in the pocket. .

The Conspirator I would use as an EDC pocket knife but the Bullmastiff that I have on the way thanks to a great close out sale is going to be my box slayer! 🗡📦. My most carried EDC knives are my Banter,Baby Banter and the Lander.

There is something about the Bullmastiff with jade handles that I just absolutely love. It's like a bullmastiff....its not cute and adorable. It's a face only a mother can love.

The conspirator is a great knife. Only drawbacks are a subpar micarta and not a great pocket clip. I got some textured carbon fiber scales from unlocked composites and a titanium Civivi clip from Amazon and it has become my absolute favorite knife to carry. The only bad thing is that with the additions, it became a $165 knife.

Nice thing about a blade like the bullmastiff... Is the real estate on the broad blade for a pinch grip on the spine for controlled cuts... without your finger needing to get close to the cutting edge. In my opinion, for the size of the blade, it also has a less aggressive (stabby) looking blade. That broad fuller also makes it easy to slow roll open.

How does the bullmastiff fit the bill for kitchen prep work? Does that height work well for guided chopping? The thickness concerns me... What edge angle can be put on mastiff? I would want 15.

I like the Banter more because of the blade shape and the size makes it easier for me to find. I would own both. But for me I can do more types of cutting with the banter and given the groove on the Banter I can control the blade and edge for fine work and even do some battoning and more Bushcrafting with the Banter than the other knife.

I love the price point for the Bullmastif. Such a great conversational piece and a cool blade shape (a bit exaggerated to my taste, I wish it was just a bit more slender in pocket, but love the swept point vs a hard cleaver edge.). Wish it was just a slightly better steel.

The conspirator is 3.45 inches or so, not 3.75 inches, just had to say that. Love my conspirator, excellent pocket knife.
