I love RoseCraft's design language with their traditional line. Just waiting for the sweet spot for me...their slip joints are gorgeous and perfect except for the D2 (personally). This modern version is great with the M390, but it has lost much of the classic beauty of the slips. If they could just put a more stainless steel on the nice classic slip series, I'd feel tempted. Maybe this continued venture into the modern traditional spells good news in the future.

The Tahoma is trying way too hard. I'm personally not a fan of gigantic choils - I like me a practical sharpening choil, but the ones that are designed to choke up on… call me crazy but I like to have my fingers on the correct side of the fingerguard. If you want more control, do away with a giant choil and bring the edge of the blade closer down. Second thing is that ridiculous wirecutter cutout compromising the strength of the already slightly narrow spine. How many of us are going to be doing trench warfare anytime soon? To me by far the biggest winner in terms of bang for the buck is the CJRB Nova, at least for EDC. The compound grind is beautifully done and very practical. Great looks, lightweight, deep carry clip, and a decent steel. It's just all win. Fun little observation: the MKM LOV texture pattern on the scales is the same design (but in monochrome) as the infamous carpeting from the Overlook Hotel in Stanley Kubrick's 'The Shining'.
