I left Knight about a month ago the pay was awful!!!! I went over to Crete and its Lot more pay and i dont have to beg for detention pay. From .46 a mile to .59 a mile has seemed to really help!

Ya I considered them. I'm looking to get into a lease. Then get my own rig. I do not plan on staying a company or lease driver for much longer. Just gaining experience, biting my time and waiting for the trucking storm to pass.

I drive local intermodal 5 days a week at prime and make 300 more a week on average than that and get weekends off. 1600-1800 if I work six days. Think JB Hunt makes even more than that

Get me out of California!! Lost a fuel pump, good thing I was not by a yard. Got towed and fixed the same day. My detention pay is high, lots of waiting. I'm at about 2000 miles for the week.

This is pretax pay. And all my loads were discharged thus week so I had no loads in progress either.

You need experience for those high paying jobs. You can't expect to make top dollar as a new driver. I work in manufacturing. I make much more than minimum wage and still don't pull $700 without overtime, which isn't always available.

Exactly I'm looking around now. $900 1800 miles. I have child support. I'm screwed @ $660 f*** I made more in food delivery local at Sysco about $1900 -$2300 per week after taxes take home.The work is he'll but pays the most I tried to stay smh lol

This is before taxes. Not going to go into taxes because it's different for everyone depending on your state.
