This is one of the weirdest, yet effective, back takes I know. Perfect for a hyper defensive opponent turtling up on you, it surprises both people when it works.

Gargoyle Mount. Amazing name. There’s got to be a deep Gargoyle game out there

Good for a street fight when your adversary is wearing a polo

Rule number one for me in street fights: Never be on bottom. Untrained people will punch you in the face from there. Of course he is going to sleep after that 🤣 Would rather go for knee on belly or sitting on him with a solid kimura hold to check my surroundings. Also you don't wanna lay on hard asphalt or concrete. Legit move for training though. Just my opinion 😅✌️

White belt here…is this gonna get me (more) tuned up at training if I attempt this? Like is this more of a competition move or daily?

It can definitely be construed as a showing off type move, but it is undeniably effective. Just gotta know your training partners.

Does it really need a different name though?

First of all. Looks amazing. Second of all. Legit question. Does this make... un-friends in the gym? I just had to ask

Just used this technique the other day. I modified a little so I didn’t hurt my training partner since I weigh around 300lbs
