I can usually flail out of a lockdown with long legs but actually seeing a solid technique to fall back on is nice to have in the toolbox!

As a follow on to this dope AF video… would be great to see tips/tricks to get that same-side underhook (first pass you showed) when they’ve their arm/elbow pinned to their side and are being super stubborn. Thanks Eli!

will this pass be relevant if my opponent uses Williams hulf guard?
@KnightJiuJitsu3 жыл бұрын
It’s a preliminary step to clear the shoulder pin in William’s Guard, but the core passing concepts are the same after that

@@KnightJiuJitsu But seriously, this was a great instructional on the topic. The placement of the head on the opposite side as the underhook I have never really seen before and makes perfect sense. I also like the detail of touching the knee to know where it is before making the slide. I look forward to incorporating this into my game. Thank you for the great quality videos. My friend and I watch your videos during lunch at work and then talk about the techniques. Thanks again for sharing

Now I'm imagining bernardo on the internet with his goofy smile and humble demeanor just disliking all the videos from his competition on youtube.
