All known knightly orders in the empire: knights of the blazing sun, knights of Morr, knights of the white wolf, knights panther, knights of the fiery heart, knights griffon, Knights of Sigmar's Blood, Knights of the Gold lion, Knights of the everlasting light, Knights of the broken sword, Knights of the black rose, knights of the black bear, Knights of the Raven, Knights of the Inner circle, Knights of the Sacred scythe, Knights Encarmine, Hunters of Sigmar and Knights of the Bull.
@sjus45377 жыл бұрын
Not to forget The Grand Order of the Reiksguard and the Order of the Hammer of Sigmar :) Also, inner circle knights are not a stading order in and of themselves. The inner circle knights are the very elite, the very inner circle, of any given knightly order, that be Reiksguard, Broken sword, Bear, Bull, etc.

The Knights of Morr sound so awesome! And considerably intimidating. With them being guardians of the graveyards would they have much involvement in funeral rites and ceremonies within The Empire? Such as possibly carrying the deceased into the labyrinth like graveyard to rest?
@bobbyjones64389 жыл бұрын
So if the Knightly orders make it into Total War eventually, these two orders would be quite interesting. The Wolf order would most likely have a berserker charge trait and a large amount of morale, but still be susceptible to fear. While the other order would have a stealth ability, possibly guerrilla deployment, and be Immune to fear, but would have less of a base morale than the wolf order.To prevent them from being too powerful.
@Self-replicating_whatnot8 жыл бұрын
Damn this made me want to make a dungeon crawler where you have a party of grave robbers and you go to steal stuff from labyrinthine Empire gravyards while also taking care to avoid being nomed by undead or murdered by knights of Morr. Just think of the possibilities - you can try to learn simple magics to calm the undead(and risk getting chaos powers, witch hunters or both on your ass), you can try to outmanuver knights of Morr so they will fight undead for you(good luck, seing that they are walking on a home turf and know the layout of the place whereas you do not), etc.
@tombouric8 жыл бұрын
You know what would be cool? Recruiting an Empire Knight unit in Warhammer Total War then choosing what order they belong to (or them changing based on the region recruited).
@JoshuaBegin9 жыл бұрын
The black guard is definitely my favorite order
@sjus45377 жыл бұрын
The first picture you use for the Knights of Morr are actually a picture of the Order of the Black Rose. The Black Rose also hold allegiance to Morr but are a knightly order founded during the black plague in 1111 IC by the elector count of Stirland. They are often confused with Knights of Morr as they both use the same motifs associated with said god, that be skulls, hourglasses, roses, etc.
@macromondo80264 жыл бұрын
LOVE the Knights of Morr's Lore, is honestly one of those little thins that tend to be overlooked when designing a fantasy world where the Undead are a thing and it makes...quite allot of sense honestly, i'd say these edgy bois got every-single-reason available to be edgy.

Arch, I understand this video is over a year old now, but I thought i should point something out to you. The Knights of Morr do not go after the Undead so to say, they are mostly a passive order that fights the undead by stopping their access to corpses rather then outright hacking and slashing; the order that hacks and slashes is their sister order, knights Raven.... ...oh, and he pic you show is actually knights of the black rose =P EDIT: Last pic must be a Knights Raven, though the knights of Morr are known for using Raven symbols aswell.

+Joel Ädel In the Background some "cavalry" units use mechanised forms of transport similar to motorcycles, and only few regiments use something cavalry like at all
@Waristheonlyanswer9 жыл бұрын
+Joel Ädel Its usually for planets where standard armor vehicles are either impractical or the conflict is not deemed worthy enought for them.
@Etiblack019 жыл бұрын
+Joel Ädel He explained it in his imperial guar videos i think.
@chaosmarine55329 жыл бұрын
+Joel Ädel Because the technology of the Imperium of Man is staggering and only minor technological advancements are made for the most part by the Adeptus Mechanicus on Mars, there are probably some major advancements but most of these are illegal and seen as heretical. Another reason is because horse cavarly serve as a very good scouting and harassing unit + they are much cheaper to recruit and maintain than a mechanical unit like a IG motorcycle.

is the Fantasy universe more tolerant than the 40K universe? or are they just as racist xeno bashers like 40K?
@Quethonable8 жыл бұрын
exactinmidget92 Humans are still pretty much xeno-hating in Fantasy, but Dwarves, halflings and Ogres get some tolerance (the latter only really accepted as mercenaries). I think if anything fantasy is worse because beast men were partially accepted by the Imperium of Man before the HH I think, while in Fantasy they seem to be completely ostracised by humans.
@undertakernumberone17 жыл бұрын
well... the beastmen in WH FB afaik also considers humans nothing but prey and want to destroy all kind of civiliations... they also did that before there was anyhting like the Empire... so i think them being more or less the Chaos Equivalent of GS it can be forgiven that Beastmen are hated and killed on sight if possible... especially since most of the Empire is a big forest...
