So you've increased stitches on that row ... do you then decrease back on the next row ... it might be helpful to show how to handle those stitches on the next row.

If I’ve understood it correctly, the little hole the k1long goes through two rows down, was created by doing a k2tog and an SSK right next to each other. Those two decreases weren’t balanced out by increases on their own row, so this is the row where the stitch count is getting evened back out. The WS of this is likely just all purl stitches (as it is in the pattern I’m knitting). I hope that helps! And, video creator, please let us know if I was just way off! 😊
