Yes I used Krea Feluxe organic wool 1 in the color 07 with two strands of their mohair silk in the same color ☺️🙌🏼

@@Kutovakika Great 👍 How many skeins of each ones would I need for the smaller size? I try to order the yarn ahead of time in case I enter the test knit. I’m guessing maybe 8 Organic Wool 1 and 10 Deluxe Silk Mohair but I’d love to have the right amount. One of the best aspects of this luxurious show and tell is that it really does reveal that some things do not meet their goal and that you learn from it and go on from there, in such a steadfast way. I think you give courage to so many knitters who could be scared of making a mistake or not having the outcome dreamt of. You remain intrepid and inspiring! What you do produce is just gorgeous!

I think at times, we all get caught up while consuming knitting youtube/knitstagram/ravelry post, and start to think that every project must turn out right the first time, or we should only have a certain number of WIPs, or its not okay to fall out of love with a project, or we need to knit at a certain frequency. I really appreciated your openness, because I think many of us can relate :)

Thank you for normalizing this process, Kika. I've been knitting since March of this year and I currently have 7 projects on needles and I've only finished 4. I keep telling myself I have to finish something before I cast on something new, and I have a whole library full of patterns and yarn that I've purchased, but I rarely find the motivation to really see something through. I sincerely appreciate your willingness to show us your wip graveyard, and the reassurance you offer that this should be fun and exciting and cherished. It's OK to change your mind and go in a new direction and I'm grateful for the reminder.

Hi Kika, how can I contact you about a question in the pattern for my 'maybe forever sweater'? I have to continue the established pattern (Round 11) in the brioche st. And increase every 5th row. But increasing in brioche is only in the BRK row, right? The 5th row would be a BRP ( by my calculations). I do not have anyone who knits so I am totally stuck. Please help! 🙏🏼

Thanks for sharing. Right now I'm working on the Nuffield Tie by Nadine Dransfield, except I am loom knitting it, instead of needle knitting it. I made a swatch, and, since it’s in linen stitch, I am adding a lifeline every ten or so rows. The rows of my acrylic swatch shrunk dramatically after washing and drying (in a net), and my stitches ended up being exactly half the number of the project swatch. It was some wild figuring, but it's going swimmingly, especially with little bits of red straw on every other peg, and a reminder on my alteration notes which ones I'm slipping in front and whichever ones I'm knitting. Linen stitch is so easy to mess up. I'm contemplating whether or not to add some cotton fabric, to go onto the back of the tie, sewing it onto the edges with the ladder stitch. I really like your yellow lace top, and I hope you make something of it. It's really very pretty.

I am a complete beginner to knitting. I got a sweater pattern as gift i started making it. I did everything what the pattern said (includes gauge, needle size,yarn weight, cast on stiches) but somehow my finished garment looks bigger. My knitting tension could be the I guess. However im still confused how this could have affected, i maintained the exact stitch countsmeaning I didn't make any extra count. Could someone tell me why? Any insights would be appreciable and also how can i shrink my knit is there a way for that?😢

Love your sweaters. Seeing all those stripes makes me want to make a striped sweater. I'm in Australia so we're coming into spring right now and it has made me keen to make summer top. I made two sweaters this winter just gone and I have started a cardigan. However, I was sucked in by a cute summer top so now I knit that and the cardigan on alternate evenings. Hopefully the top won't take long though as it's quite thick cotton and knitted on 6mm needles. Yay.
