I was not going to get this pattern because I have so many projects lined up. Many of them from you. BUT I couldn’t resist because it is so pretty and you give a demo on how to do the stitches which I so appreciate. I started a shawl a while back, not from you, then found there was an error in one of the sections leaving knitters confused and frustrated. I started the shawl at least 12 times and ripped it back because there were no clear pictures of what it was supposed to look like.😒 I know if I have any questions about your patterns I can always get an answer. Dear, you can put the video at slow motion, 0,75 or down to 0.5. You can repeat as often as you want. After some time you will be better. This teaching angle tere writes the pattern this easy that every beginner can do it, really! Otherwise ask! She or I or both and perhaps more others will help you. Ever heard of a lifeline? Put a long floss (for your teeth, or a thin yarn) and let it go one row through your stitches every 5 or 6 rows. When finished the next 6 rows look if you made a mistake. If not: set the next lifeline, after putting out the laying lifeline. Knit the next 6 rows, look, knit next 6 rows, put in next lifeline… you only need one single long lifeline for all. This helps you: If there's a mistake you needn't take care to unravel and search the stitches, no! You can unravel to the lifeline. Fix the stiches to your needle and knit right. Or fix the mistake if you can. With this help most lf us knit these knitting projects. I'm a teacher for over 40 years and still I do it. Sometimes I'm tired but want to knit, or have a headache, or can't concentrate myself, or my son every other minute tells me s. th. . With a lifeline knitting is so much easier! I use it in socks, if pattern is a bit tricky or I'm not up to date in my brain:) Ok? Give it a try! Best: after you've ended it you - can be proud of yourself, - are able to knit and purl and slipstitch front and back and knit kfb and all with the same tension. Then you are over to be a beginner. You'll be an advanced knitter! Isn't that wonderful? I'm thrilled to hear from you for helping or for congratulations, whatever will come: I'm here, just one tiny post away. BTW: You can write the row you are on an extra paper and you lay it down at the table each time you knit that row. That's it. You can do it, for sure! Be blessed! You'll go!❣

Keep your dreams alive, you have them for a reason. Yes, dearest friend and sister, that's so true! Definitive I'll not only give it a try but I'll knit it. I'll take different colors: dark red, and colors fitting well without white nor rosy. Sorry, I can't lxke them, I tried so many times. White - sometimes. This triangled shawl looks so dnbelievable light I really MUST create it! You know I'm wheelchaired and I want to show others this doesn't mean life is over. I've got a wonderful son who studxes and my wheelz bring me to the edges of my world where without I'd never reach, so they're great, too, and cs back wheelz are electrified I can put them to drive long ramps or a mountain straight up or down beteer than my footgoing friends. You see, I didn't dig my dreams to the ground, no, I try to live as much as I can.My wheelchair is black with red accessories, the shawl will fit extraordinairy to that and to me with my red gloves and jacket. I'll love it so much, I can feel it grow. Dear, stay healthy and be blessed. Perhaps next year or whenever I'll have finished it with my shivvering hands I'll send you a foto, if you be so nice to give my your home - email??? Then I really will do. Hello Gorgeous! Another breath taking shawl from Monica!!! Love this shawl! The yarn! OH! The yarn is scrumptious! Truly! (Now I have Truly Scrumptious playing in my head! ;) ) Any hoooooo... I was wondering if there is advantage to doing the garter cast on rather than the plan old cast on? The German cast on in my fav!!! Then I thought what it would look like if you *slip 2 with yarn in front ( or back), k 1, s1yf (or b), k1, s2yf (or b), k3,* repeat to m, sm....it looks good in my head. How about your head?

Gina, the garter tab cast on gives it a better shape than other cast ons. I do recommend it for this and other similar-shaped shawls. :)
