I got my first Sentro machine for Christmas. Your instructions are great for casting on and off. I’ve made over 100 hats already. I’d like to share a tip with you and your followers. I took a sharpie marker and marked all the odd numbers. As long as you start on pin one and go on the outside of the marked pins you know before you get to the end of casting on if you have made a mistake. I also mark on top of either side of the last pin, so I know when I’m close to the end of a row.

Thanks for sharing! I'm still waiting on my knitting machine to arrive. I have fond memories of this hat as almost every kid on the block wore one, during winter weather, back in the day- it was like having an extra pocket😊👍🏿

Big twist works great with my machine! It’s easy, cheap, and soft!

I love it!! could you tell me how many more rows I would have to make to keep it "slouchy", without making it look terrible ?

I absolutely love this. Thanks for sharing. Is there a way to secure the hat when you tuck it in?

Thanks @xemzx87. You could add some stitches from the inside but I think that you might see puckering or pulling on the outside of the hat wherever the stitches are.
