Thanks, I took inspiration from a free pattern that I found online this is the link www.lovecrafts.com/en-us/p/honeycomb-aran-in-patons-classic-wool-worsted , I wanted to make a video tutorial so it’s easier to follow for people who don’t know how to read a pattern. I did some changes to make it look more “oversized” and I didn’t shape the sleeves like in the pattern. As a reference the bust measurement is about 120 cm but it also depends from the type of yarn you are using. If you want to make it bigger you can use a thicker yarn and bigger needles or just add another row of the cables from patter A. I hope this was helpful :)

Hi, I’m having some trouble doing the ribbed stitches, every time I start with the first row I end the row in a knit and when I turn my work it’s a purl. In the video you say to do a knit for the start on the second row, but ever time I do that it looks a bit off, I looked at your other tutorial on how to do it but I’m still a little confused lol.
@Pinterestknitting Жыл бұрын
If you did the same number of stitches as I do you should end with a purl stitch on the first row, so in the second row you start with a knit stitch. If you did a different number of stitches just do K1tbl and P1 in row 1 until the end, and for row 2 every time you see a knit stitch do K1 and when you see a purl stitch do P1tbl. I hope you understand if you have any other doubt comment so I can help you😊.

@nick-bj1zyАй бұрын
I dont know what she used but as someone who has been knitting for 2+ years I would definitely recommend wool yarn for sweaters. Its really soft and doesn't itch and looks clean ( like a store-bought sweater for example). But if you would like a more textured sweater definitely try experimenting with mohair yarn. Its a very thin and textured yarn usually mixed with other fibers, most commonly, wool. But if you do end up using mohair please be sure to use a thinner yarn than the pattern, as the mohair does thicken your yarn. Hope this helped :)

No, I just show how to do row 1, then you have to follow the rows of the separate patterns, for example row 3 you have to do row 3 of patter A B and C, on row 5 you have to do row 5 of pattern A B and C. While on row 2-4-6-8… and so on, you just have to knit or purl the stitches as they appear on the row you just did. I hope you understand, if you have any other doubts I’d love to help you.

I’m sorry if it disturbs you, I thought total silence wasn’t a good idea, but thanks for the advice :)
@scintillatinglight84516 ай бұрын
@@Pinterestknittingthank you for answering the comment. I understand people use background music in their videos it is wat followers are used to when they watch tv etc, silence is not appreciated in this world most people are used to constant noise so won’t notice it. Background music can be relaxing sometimes. In this track there are some repetitive elements in a certain frequency spectrum that draw the attention from your speech. There are different layers in the stereo image, things that share the ‘room’ and these elements compete with your voice to get attention. Have a great day!
