Hello from Mounds Illinois. The problem that I had with magic loop besides the cord curling was that I used the wrong needle to start. I think I will give it another try.

I actually learned socks on magic loop 2 at a time. My biggest issue has always been ladders and then starting with a purl I tend to stick to the smaller Circs now due to this… but sometimes wish these weren’t issues, as heavier weight yarn on small circs hurts my hands

I knit magic loop frequently. It looks to me when you start your first row of stitches you are pulling from bottom needle (which actually looks like front needle) and joining with needle which appears to me as the top needle. Am I mistaken? Thank you and thank you for this tutorial.
