Good luck with you applications and hope all good with ethics committee going smoothly. I’m a retired nurse who knits lots and dabbles in a little sewing, so enjoying your journey. Knitting a Moby Slipover for my granddaughter as we speak! In blocking are 4 baby knits for a friends new grandchild. As well as that, have a scrappy blanket for my ‘granddog’ and of course the obligatory socks. We are coming into summer here in Scotland so it’s odd listening to your winter plans 😀. Good luck deciding on wool and patterns for the jumpers for the men in your life. Happy knitting 🧶

Thank you so much!! Your knits all sound amazing - especially the gift for your granddog ahaha can't leave out the fur babies!! Are you planning on casting on any summer knits this time of year? The change between the two hemispheres always catches me off guard too!

I love my sweater no 14 v neck, I did mine with one strand of Nutiden and one strand of mohair. It’s so light but warm 🥰

Hi Hayley, Your Porcelain jumper looks so comfy and warm! I’m in Melbourne too and the weather has definitely turned into snuggly jumper mode! I’ve been to the Fish Creek Tea Cosy Festival this weekend. Never knitted a tea cosy before but it was a great excuse to take my daughter to a gorgeous part of South Gippsland, eat Devonshire Teas and relax in front of a fire knitting. I had hoped to finish my current jumper but still had some of the sleeves to finish…did I let that stop me from wearing it to the festival? Nope! One sleeve was kept together with a Barber cord and the other still had the needles hanging from it! 🤣 Hardly noticeable at all🤣❤️🧶 Thanks for another great episode 😃 Susie
