Hi Marie , I love your eclipse top the colours are gorgeous. I don’t bother gauge swatches either as they they lie 😂. Have a lovely holiday

Thank you. I've been working on my eclipse tonight as my hand where a little tired from my socks. I’m so glad its not just my swatches that lie 😂

I love the colours in your eclipse and you’re super close to being done. I only swatch for test knits. I know I’m a loose knitter so I just go down a needle size or a yarn weight and start knitting. I give it to sleeve separation and then check fit and determine what to do from there, but mostly it works out. You might just automatically go up a needle size and start from there. I think it’s the act of making a swatch that makes our gauge different- being too careful lol

I think you’ll definitely have enough leftover from your Musselburgh for your blanket. I did a Musselburgh on my holidays and knit until I was getting worried about having enough for the decreases and still came home with 12 grams leftover😖🙄

Hi. I enjoyed watching your episode. I also have knit the classic tank a couple of times. In the free version, on her blog it has this which states the following: Round 2: K around. Total of 170(178, 192, 202, 216, 226) ST Round 3 - Round 68(70, 74, 76, 80, 82): REP Round 2 Round 69(71, 75, 77, 81, 83): *K 1 TBL, P 1 TBL* REP from *TO* around. Hope this helps.

@@tanyaburns7921 Fantastic thank you so glad you enjoyed. Rep round 2 is written in my copy of the pattern too so I think they are the same. I think its the numbering that making it confusing but its maybe me just overthinking thinking this 😂 i just think if you was a beginner and it says round 2 knit, round 3 (68) rep round 2 and then round 69 is the ribbing……🤷🏻♀️ i knew what to do as I’ve knitted this construction before. Otherwise this pattern is brilliant IMO. Just need to try on now before doing the ribbing to check the length and then its finished woo hoo

I share your experience with gauge swatching and tend to take the same approach as you do. It doesn’t happen with everything I knit though. Rather than needing to go up a needle size I’m a loose knitter so generally go down a size or even two.

Love your new tank top. I would send an email to the designer to let her know that a line is missing in the pattern, though I’m so far behind in watching your video- you’ve probably already done that 😂 Enjoy your trip!

@@mlea79 you could always have Mona give it a look, but I think if you’re missing something, other people are too:)

Your cloud sweater is beautiful!!! How many skeins of each yarn did you need for it?
