My first project ever was a mug sweater made with the garter stitch. I remember making the button holes was so hard for me and I haven't made anything with buttons since but tbh I want to try it again to see if I've gotten better with the cable cast on and all of that. I then went for a beanie, a cowl, a sweater and now I'm kntiting a cardigan for my mom. I love your channel so much and I can relate so much to your humor. I also have grandma tendencies so I feel amazing watching your videos! Thank you!

I learned how to crochet and knit as a teen, but I never stuck with it. In the 2020 standstill of corona, I decided to give crochet a try. Now that I feel comfortable with that, I want to now start familiarizing myself with knitting again. The pillows are a really good idea.

I tried six times to make a garter stitch shawl with the hole in the middle and I could not do it. No matter how hard I tried. The holes were supposed to be all lined up in the centre of the shawl and mine would not line up. I finally gave up and knit a hat. I’ll try again but not for awhile lol. I love making socks and hats. I’d really like to start making sweaters now. Especially a cardigan and just basic sweaters. So I’m searching for that.

If you can knit socks you can knit anything! I have found socks to be the most difficult thing to make so far. I think you should revisit the shawl. Give it another go! I believe in you
