I am a fairly experienced knitter but when I read the instruction for that stitch between stitches 2 and 3 ...I had no idea what I was supposed to do. How come everyone else thinks this is the easiest pattern in the world? I haven't even done it yet...but thank god for this video. I cast on a whole other sweater because I had no idea how to proceed....

I agree with you about the stitch between 2 and 3. According to my understanding, the tutorial is demonstrating “stitch between 3 and 4” 4:07 😵💫

I'm using my husband's account, but I want to thank you for this video! I could tell something was amiss when I knit these rows and seeing your very clear example and you saying to k2tog with the pulled up stitch was just what I needed to make sense of my skinny, hard-to-read stitches. Thank you!

Thank you ever so much. I usually knit socks but have decided to try my hand at this sweater. I am in a small knitting group and we meet every Monday. This is my 1st garment and only my 3rd knit item. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your time and all the effort you put into making these! It's so easy to follow along with the pattern and gives me such confidence. It's much easier than I thought, but after making the emotional support chicken, I learned so many skills and feel like it was a great choice for my 2nd make to better understand construction. I'm having such fun! Woohoo 😁💙❣️

I am following your help videos and I am so happy to say I made it this far and have not had rip back one stitch yet! I would have never made it this far so easily without your help, especially this part, the first rows of the lacework. I did not understand what the pattern was asking me to do in row 2 but you made it so simple. I hope I did not jinx myself with this comment. I am headed into rows 4 and beyond for the yoke now and I'm hoping for more smooth sailing! Thank You!! PS If i ever pass through Brevard I will be sure to check out your store!

Thank you for providing this info! I messed up a bit on the knitting in to the 1st round part but I think I evened it out on the other side and other people probably won't ever notice. so it will all be okay:) it did strain my hands though because I tried to pull the extra stitch back again (it looked so wrong!) Reversing the whole pulled stitch effect... oh well,now I can do it better on my next one!

That's a pretty pattern. Can it be used in straight knitting
@SunDragonTipsTricks Жыл бұрын
Hi Reb, I’m not the pattern writer, so it’s hard to advise- there might be a way to change for flat panels, but that would take some work on your end to figure out ❤️ it is designed to flow in the round. If you’re talking about just the specific stitch, that could be put into straight knitting, it would be figuring out the “wrong side rows”.

These videos are SO helpful! Thank you! Quick question --- when is the best time to change from the 16" circulars to longer ones?
@SunDragonTipsTricks6 ай бұрын
Honestly whenever you feel it will fit on the longer ones- sometimes you can go for quite a while on the 16” as long as you don’t feel too cramped!

Hello thanks for your amazing videos. Im concerned with my needle size (cord) . I started with16inches and I have 60 stitches before starting the yoke section. I see later in the instructions that I will end up with 240 stitches. My question is do I change cable size and if so with cable should I use (Chiagoo) 14inch-22inch or 30 inch and when and how I transfer my stitches.? Thank you.
@SunDragonTipsTricks Жыл бұрын
I do a lot of my top-down sweaters with just a 16” and a 32”, so either the 22 inch or 30 inch cable. For transferring stitches you can either slip them from one needle to the other, or knit them onto the new needle ❤️
