This was so helpful, thank you!! Im on my second Ranunculus using DK weight. A few years ago, when I knit my first one in light fingering, I skipped the raglan increases so I definitely needed a refresher for this section. Midori's tutorials are great too, but you teach the way I learn, so actively knitting mine along with you as you knit the entire round was perfect. :)

Hi Sun Dragon, I’m enjoying your videos and send a massive thanks for putting them together. I have an error on row 26 on the yoke and unsure how to tink back what with those pulled through yarns. Have you any advice? Or a reference in your playlist. Thanks
@angelabates8752 Жыл бұрын
I did it I did it 🎉, knitting back the knit stitch’s as normal and just gently pulling back the loopy ones and grabbing with a hook😅
@SunDragonTipsTricks Жыл бұрын
Hi Angela- I don’t have a specific reference/video for that, but if it’s that pull through row, the pull throughs can be dropped off without damage, and I have a general video about Tinking (backing out one stitch at a time). Let me know if you can’t find it.

My increases look totally fubar on my first one compared to this, but the raglan increases are in a place where they’re not super noticeable anyway :) I’m sure your sweater is still lovely ❤️
@rosalie40692 жыл бұрын
@@SunDragonTipsTricks that's so nice of you, thanks! I usually just leave mistakes but this time I felt like they really added up and on top of that I couldn't accept the way my increases looked (different on every side) so I just unraveled it and will start again this week! I'm fine with it and now I've had some practice it will be fine :) thanks again for your nice message

I understand why she did it this way, but honestly, if your video hadn't been here, I'd have still been trying to figure out what exactly I was supposed to do, here. Evidently, this is not the week to go shopping at your store (well, honestly, for the next 5-6 weeks, it looks like) so, lift with your knees, take frequent breaks, put a pad of post it notes in your pocket and a pen behind your ear. I'll try again in October. Thanks again!

You look like you’re disecting an octopus. Curious what might be the easier type of yarn for a beginners practice yolk ? Would love to use mohair, but would like to practice w something a bit more durable.thx
@MrLizbun2 жыл бұрын
I’m confused, sec 4 round 1 it says to kBf, sm, kfb and repeat 4 times so is it total 5 times which would mean increases run into the next round ? Or is it total 4 times ? Thanks for all your help!
@SunDragonTipsTricks2 жыл бұрын
It is only at the extra markers you have placed, only at the sleeve increases, not your beginning/end of round marker, that knit to end is to your end of round marker. Think of it as do what is in the parentheses 4 times, so that is 4 times total.
