wow, it never occured to me that I could knit squares! I crocheted a lot before, but I'm new to knitting, and I want to knit a cardigan so bad. I started it with another pattern but I made so many mistakes that I have to unravel it and start is again, buuuut I'm gonna do it with this pattern. It's gonna be very different because I have thinner yarn and pastel colors, but hey, it'll be so much fun :D

Do you think i can make it with yarn size 6 instead of 8? I dont really like that chunky size but I'm afraid it wont look as good...

You can but the gauge and look will be different, you’ll have to make bigger squares if you want it to be the same size as the original pattern (oversized).

Meaning adding more stitches so the squares are still 14x14cm!

I like the idea of the patern. Maybe I will do it with some smaler yarn in different colors and stitches. I think the important part is to have 14x14 cm squares. Thanks for the Inspiration 🤗

I got regular 3 weight yarn. Does it absolutely ha e to be bulky?

It will be a different gauge/ different size of squares. You’ll have to knit bigger squares and cast on more stitches if you want it the same size, or you’ll have a smaller cardigan.

Can someone explain, PLEASE, after row 7, do you just purl back with red yarn and start row 1 again, or start row 1 on the purl side, still confused, never did this pattern before.

I think I know what you mean. I started row 1 on Purl side … i think it looked good that way!

I'm currently making this right now, may I know how did you do the cuffs? Did you knit them in the round or just knit it flat (then sew them later on)?

I don’t remember but the pattern calls to knit them flat separately and then sewing them, so that’s probably what I did

Hey, this feels like a basic question, but how many squares do you knit for each color? I was looking at the pattern, but it doesn't list them.

The pattern does list the quantity for each type of square.

The pattern doesn’t have a size, it’s supposed to be oversized. It fit me maybe two sizes bigger than me and I’m a small-medium
