Hi Inga, thanks for this episode. It was lovely to see your traditions, Nelli with her knitting 😂 and all the yarn stores visits. I also apreciate you mentioning "Popelka". I am from the Czech republic, where it was filmed back in the 70's and I've heard about it being popular in Norway. I love it and watch it every Christmas too. I wish you many happy moments in 2025..

Happy New Year Inga and family! 🎊 🎉2025! I love your very cultural Christmas, it is inspiring! Here in Canada, B.C. , something my two sons and myself do is go to the beach Christmas Eve or Christmas night, and sometimes they go crabbing. We didn’t do it this year as my eldest spent Christmas with new friends and family. I missed it, but still had fun, making my younger son play a board game! Look forward to 2025, I guess you will be back at work sometime this year. It has been so lovely sharing your past year with Nelly at home, thank you .😊 All the best for 2025!

Thanks for another lovely vlog. It's so interesting seeing how other countries/cultures celebrate Xmas. The food looks delicious. New Zealand is hot, and the traditional food is a cooked ham, salads, breads, and barbeques. And Pavlova for dessert. Little Nelli is gorgeous. She's holding those needles so well!

Such a lovely podcast and sharing a little of what a Norwegian Christmas is like. I did notice that the vegetable that you used at your parents home we call a “turnip” in New England (Massachusetts, NH, Maine etc) but down in the south they call it a “rutabaga”. It is also one of our traditional Christmas side dishes. Though I would love to make your recipe, sounds delicious. Happy knitting ❤❤Kathy from Massachusetts
