Well obviously the reason you see that title so much is because it´s a popular way to title challenge run videos, so it helps with the algorithm. But I also have a secondary reason because I used to use "how to beat" but now I reserve that for videos in which I know exactly what I'm doing, and "can you beat" for videos in which part of the run is trying to figure out how to get through it or even literally improvise

The Radahn's Spear greatarrow actually does 20% more damage if used with Radahn's greatbow for a regular shot. Can't testify for the weapon art though

Well, you can check the end of the gargoyle fight. Regular arrows do the same amount of damage per hit. So that's weird that it doesn't apply to the specific weapon art... you know literally called Radahn's rain... so that is weird

Regarding Radahn: there's a trick you can do to make him stop using the bow INMEDIATELY and approach towards you, which is just running backwards after dodging the first gravity arrow. His AI gets confused, shoots and arrow into the opposite direction, and boom, he's coming with the swords!

Just fyi, the trio gravity balls are actually an upgrade to a pebble because enemies suck at dodging it and it deals a lot of poise dmg. It is a bit slow for a few enemies but yea, at least the mighty pebble has 1 contender.

@juscbh BHUVSDSDVBHJWSDV the fact that it’s so cheap and spammable yet has incredible scaling (literally does half the damage of a comet spell for less than a third of the cost at the same int) and unlike comet azur which roots you in place and has no use against aggressive, nimble, or ranged bosses like the Ancestor Spirit, Morgott, or Astel respectively, glintstone pebble can be cast quick enough to even catch nimble bosses out of their dodge.

The portal from Deeproot to Leyndell was especially funny, and useless, for me when I found it, because I got to it from descending into the Leyndell sewers. So I went all that way, fought through the simp army, and just ended up right back where I started.

@@SorowFame won't activate unless fia is progressed, so roundtable hold needs to be unlocked. It's only real use is that you can get into leyendell with only 1 great rune (rahdan) and it's potentially easier to kill the gargs than the draconic tree sent (mimic tear and fia tier 3 are the only other bosses needed to get into leyendell this way). I've used it once to not get ohkod by draconic sent

radans greatbow's rain was quite possibly the most disappointed ive been by anything in elden ring. i remember the pre-nerf hoarfrost stomp did about 170 at level +0 and about 1600ish damage at level +10. when i used the weapon art for the first time it did about 400 damage. i expected it to do more than 4000 damage after defense calculations when fully upgraded. so i upgraded it 5 times to do a new total of 480.... just crushing defeat. the rain attacks will always be ridiculously OP when bosses use them against us, but it is a joy we shall never feel

It's literally overpowered. Its aow causes bleed loss and deals damage. It's also an aoe attack that can stagger in a 360° range along with being able to hit like 15 feet above your character

I did a run with the Lion Greatbow, I can say that Radahn's Spear arrow do, in fact, deal more damage than regular arrows. I don't exactly know why. The wiki page of the Lion Greatbow says that the spears do 20% increased damage with the Lion Greatbow, but I personal never tested the exact numbers. I can say though, that the damage is increased with the Radahn's Rain skill on the Lion Greatbow. If this was a bait to get me to comment imma be miffed.

Why do a moon only run, when you could also use flame of the fell god, and throw suns at people along with the moons. Granted that would mean putting no points in vigor and endurance, more or less, because you'd need 41 faith and 60 int just to use both those spells, so you can be an astrologer that throws suns and moons at people.

16:20 Spell speed increase has a soft cap around 14% which makes it more worth using. To achieve this, you need two different sources. Like, Radagon’s Icon and 40 dex, or the icon and the staff which also has the perk, etc..

The wondrous physic can almost completely counter nihil with minimal damage Edit: malikeths flurry was stupid but it was avoidable. He always did a certain attack b4 the flurry so that was my queue to get out of the hitboxes completely. Malenias fucken waterfowl dance though. I can have dodge all her attacks then she'll just rise up while i have no stamina and obliterate me. It's bs. You can out space it but that's if her ai decides to do it at a decent time. It's fucken ridiculous how random that bs attack is and how unavoidable it is. Elden beast star is a pain in the ass but atleast it's damage isn't ridiculous. But if that mf decides he wants to stack every attack on u at once when dodging the star then ur fucked. He once did the homing rain attack the star and snipped me with his sword from a mile away. I simply couldn't control it. Fromsofts bosses have all been fair until elden ring. But some bosses attacks are bs

Amazing video man, loved it from start to finish! I really like that you're willing to actually show chunks of boss fight footage to highlight your build or specific points. A lot of other challenge run videos just go "we then kill *x* boss" and move on, which kind of defeats the point imo lol. Also, it felt very cathartic to see you struggle with Crystal Release. When I did an Int/Str run, I wanted to make the crystal spells work so hard, but that one specifically felt impossible to use lol.

Absolutely adored this run! Some of the coolest sorceries in the game by far, always enjoy this content mixed with all the bad jokes! Not sure how helpful it might be in future runs, but the Godfrey Icon talisman from the Golden Lineage evergaol give you a 15% damage increase on all charged skills & spells! I've found it to be really useful on all kinds of caster builds and with certain weapon arts! I thought it would've been handy for you in this run, not that you needed it!

I know it's late to say anything about it, but there's a spiritspring near the place you get the Rain of Arrows ash of war. If you jump right at the edge closest to the place you need to drop down and do a properly aimed double jump, you'll have the 'safe fall' status from the spring the whole way down to where you get it. It's a LOT easier than trying to find a 'normal' way down.

The Twin Gargoyles falling off has not been patched. I just did it on current patch. It does, however, take a-lot of luck. It took me maybe 15 minutes to get both down, and I only made a serious attempt when the first one jumped off before the other one spawned. That being said it only took me about 5 attempts, but I just tanked with the icon shield and my best armor. I'm doing a RL 1 with no upgrading so this fight was initially very daunting to me if I couldn't get that to work. But it still works.

Fighting Crystalian for the bell bearing was unnecessary, just get the meteorite staff from caelid that has S scaling in intelligence with relatively low stat requirements and doesn't need upgrades

So with radgon idol, cast speed in this game is weird it doesn’t effect the initial cast but does effect how fast you can go into your next action namely your next cast. So it actually helps your dps a lot if you cast multiple times in a row but does next to nothing if you are single casting.

When you dodge the spells that track (example second phase of rennalla) you dodge with the projectile's direction of travel which means that as you come out of the roll you are in the perfect spot to be hit by the projectiles. Instead dodge into them and by the time you come out of the roll every projectile will be long gone moving in the completely wrong direction to hit you. I really you enjoyed this video and learned a lot from your problem solving, looking forward to lots more.
