I have an Infiniti G20 1999/SR20DE LOW PORT that was failing smog and needed repair of both the cars EGR/bpt and KNOCK SENSOR which I removed and re-installed both parts with me completing the KNOCK SENSOR this afternoon. I purchased an SK short offset 6 point wrench#SKT87788 The G20 appears to leave more wiggle room to remove and re-install the KNOCK SENSOR without removing the bracket you refer to in your vlog. hey what were the symtpms your car was doing? My brother has one and it bucks and hesitates in 1st and 2nd gear.

Did you ever find out the issue? Mine currently hesitates really badly from 4Krpm to 5k. Almost like it hits a fals rev limit while accelerating. I’ve replaced the crank position sensor, and the air temp sensor. It has a code for the air temp and after I replaced it, the code still stands and the sensor is getting power. Haven’t tried wiping the codes

@@brendanbryant3598 I would try wiping the codes first and seeing what happens. the problem ended up being a leak in the intake hose, his mechanic literally fixed it with duct tape lol

@@JdmLu will do. I know the idiot that owned it before me cut the EGR pipe that runs from the Exhaust manifold directly to the EGR valve. Would that be considered a vacuum leak due to the EGR system routing straight to the manifold?

@@brendanbryant3598 I just bought one this week where the guy cut the same thing to make it louder. When I start it, it struggles to hold an idle unless I give it gas, now I have a rattling sound in the engine like a loose bolt or something is rattling around inside of the cams or a cylinder, anyone have any ideas?
