@@nederlanditism1154 Yeah, I knew it was defunct. I was never going to go there anyway. (I hate cities with a passion) It's more of a cool bit of history that's relevant to me mostly through MTV. I was born in 67, so I grew up with all that music, and was part of the MTV generation. A better name I think than Gen X.

As I just replied to Ava, I want to encourage you to keep on rocking together. This is a fantastic song, and I can't wait to hear what you've got for us next 🙂 I heard you say on your live stream that it was a bit challenging getting together due to living so far apart, but do try to make it happen. This is true rock & roll, played by outstandingly talented individuals.

The star is Charlotte with her solo. I guess the little rattling from the drums is due to the sub-optimal sound recording on this, or was she running away a bit at times, or is that a deliberate feature, because those bands in the past would have sounded just like that? So, it's a wave band with feed in punk and rock. We didn't expect that. Oh, we better had bet this would be the next genre to be covered.

I am one of your ardent fan (knockout) maybe the biggest fan even. Having said this I want to give an honest criticism. The vocals and the song and the whole vibe was bland. I hope and pray that y'all get better as you go. Wish you guys great success.❤
@TimMikol2 ай бұрын
@@truthandrevelation2567 I agree! I did expect more than this. One thing is the singer is not that good, the recording or sound mix was off, and I expected a better song. But knowing Yoyoka and Charlotte, we’re going to hear better stuff!
@TimMikol2 ай бұрын
Yoyoko is fantastic, as well as her music. But this singer is not good! Yoyoka needs to get Vinya chhabra. They’ve already did things together and is fantastic, and has presence.
@jackspratt72642 ай бұрын
Keeping it real... you ain't lying. I didn't want to leave that comment, but I almost did. Charlotte has played with Vinya before as well. But I'm not sure if Vinya lives around L.A.. I think that kid is from V.A. or M.D. if I'm not mistaken. Look, Ava has potential, however, at this moment in time Yoyoka and Charlotte are on a similar plane so they might want to consider shopping around a bit more, unless the plan is to grow toether. I've been in bands and played with made men and women. When I was 1 year older than Yoyoka is now I was hired in a band that later got signed and we ended up sharing the stage with many, many, huge bands throughout the 90s. But in order to get there that 1st year we had to make many line up changes and some feelings got hurt. But it wasn't like we were getting rid of any Dave Mustaine's from our roster. So, it was what it was. We didn't want to be in the garage playing local shows for the rest of our lives, so we made some tough choices. If they want to ride with Ava til she improves I'm for that. If they want upgrade now, I'm for that too. They just got together. Yoyoka is on her own path. I ride with her, regardless. Let's see how they progress.

Thanks for your further insight! To tell you the truth, I thought I was going to get lambasted for my comment. But I meant no harm by it, just an honest observation. I think it’s simply amazing what a lot of these young people are doing. Charlotte is an incredible guitarist!

@@janbleeker Yeah, I knew she was from back East somewhere. So, unless she moves to Cali any real collabs with these West Coast kids, not on special occasions or online, are probably out of the question. We'll see. I'd love if Yoyoka could upgrade and make moves like her girl Li-sa-X at some point, but again, Yoyoka has her own designs and I've been consistently impressed with her choices since I started following her and the fam almost 9 years ago when she was 6. So, regardless she'll be ok.
