I don't understand how the children could be distracting to the point it tarnishes the experience of the video. In fact, I think that it added that family touch to it. I mean they have children and this is what children do. It's important to let children feel free and comfortable in an environment that has a camera going as an important part of their life and lifestyle otherwise when will they find the time? And this is how any kid is at this age, clingy and always looking for attention. Welcome to parenthood! ;)

Many times while filming those things are not noticeable but can't trash video content for it. I'm not sure where to begin... but I wanted to tell you how much you inspired me and how in awe I am of you for doing what you do. Since I started watching your channel I've been thinking a lot of how I live my life, and what I want to do with it, and yeah I do feel like I'm stuck - I've been thinking that for a long time now, but not sure how to change it. But, I do feel the winds of change coming... Looking at you living in an RV has helped me realize I don't need a lot of stuff, they are not what matter and more often than not, they hold me back and complicate things more because I hold them to a much higher value than they really are. I've started decluttering my home and I've become obsessed about tiny house living to free up my time but also give me a project which I think would really benefit me. The minimalistic life appeals to me a lot; like why are we trying to build relationships with stuff and not with people? Because it's easier I guess. Thanks to you I got the courage and started a YT-channel where I'm trying to be more open and honest about myself and show the world who I am (I have a tendency to close myself off) and so far it's been a great sort of self therapy and it's helping me communicate better. Furthermore, I also admire how you take life as it comes, I can't even imagine myself with 9 kids, planning trips, having a job, AND running a YT channel full-time (are you super human or something - HOW?!?! I can hardly find time and focus for myself :/ ). But hey, maybe your life is chaotic and you're all anxious and super stressed 80% of the time when the camera is turned off but I doubt it haha ;) I get anxious just trying to plan ONE trip -basically because the unknown scares me and I think I will die lol - Also probably because I need to control everything all the time, mix that with high sensitivity and yay you have a nice cocktail of literally everything stressing me out. Why am I saying all of this, well because you give me hope of one day trying to be more relaxed and deal with things as they come and not worry about what MIGHT happen too much. That's what I take from your channel, if that's true or not I don't know, but that's the comfort you give me :) Anyway, sorry for going on so long... I'm happy you've made it to Europe and for taking us along. Thank you for showing us another way of living. It means a lot.

My husband and I spent a month in a suburb of Paris in an airbnb. It was a great experience. I so want to go back to France and spend more time there. The people are not as unfriendly as it is said if you try and speak French to them and do not expect them to conform to one's own expectations. A lovely country. And the bread is so fantastic. We lived on bread, cheese, ham and produce from their open markets. Some fruit and veg stores do not want you to touch their produce, just FYI, so they will snark at you if you attempt to bag it yourself. They are not that way at a supermarket, but at the specialty produce places. Also, the bakery quiches are simply fantastic...we had those for many a meal! Au revoir et à bientôt!

What a lovely home. The only thing having been a nanny and travelled. With the family I would not appreciate sharing a bedroom. Surely Sarah needs her own space ? Unless she's not a nanny just part of the family. A nanny needs her own space .

+Tracy Cook, because our situation is somewhat unique, 12 people traveling the world, we recognized that it would be difficult to find a home where we could spare a whole bedroom for one person. We discussed it with Sarah before she accepted the job. She agreed to share a room if it wasn't possible for us to find a home large enough for her to have her own. I agree that it's not optimal but that's just the way it has to be given our sheer numbers.

Jackie Hodge I'd like some parts of it but I couldn't cope with the road travel but it is going to be an amazing adventure and a far better education than being stuck in a school alll year. Especially if the children learn the countries language

That's kind of cool about the manual/standard/stick shifting! In the U.S. you can only get that when you go really cheap or really expensive. And Ash, buddy, please put down the juice box when it's empty.

keriezy it's actually standard in Europe. Automatic cars are usually more expensive. Also in Europe when you do you drivers licence you always have to learn to drive manually. There is not such thing as doing a automatic licence because it's a given. If you can drive manually you can easily drive an automatic car. But not vise versa.

You can actually get an automatic licence too (in Belgium at least), but you're not allowed to drive a manual car if you have that kind of licence.

Automatic licences are a thing in the UK too.
