Esther is such a patient big sister. All your kids seem to treat each other well, but the little ones gravitate to her and she is so good with them.

We stayed at the Silver Saddle several years ago. Great little motel. My sons family live in Colorado springs. We were there to help them move into their new home. We love CS and Manitou springs. Your family is awesome and i watch your videos often. Call it binge watching. Be safe.

I enjoyed this video. I am a Grandma now but we took our kids up Pike's Peak during our camping years!!

I enjoyed the trip. I haven't seen much out west. Our oldest son lives in Oregon and both trips we made were 5 days straight driving to spend 4 days with them and another 5 days back home. Hubby is retired now, so no 2 weeks vacations to hurry back to work from. I'm hoping to see more the next trip we plan out there!

What a fun trip to Pikes Peak. It’s amazing how you two can watch so many kids, recognize their individual needs and have the the snacks ready for them. It was fun traveling with you.

Just happened upon your channel a couple days ago and decided, after watching several videos, to start from the beginning. I’m already on video 38 and I love it! Hate that sweet Esther got sick, but she sure was a trooper. ❤️ You have an incredible family and you’re doing an amazing job raising your kids.

Manitou Springs is so cute, if you go there is a penny arcade (dimes and quarters) and it's indoor outdoor. One of my favorite places to go! Also there are running fountains of spring water that all have different tastes and stories. If you come to Colorado Again definitely o to the arcade and walk around, lots of fun!

Enjoyed watching your well behaved and well managed children. Nice video. Oh, by the way, a highball in railroad lingo is, as you suspected, a signal to proceed. It's from a signalling system used decades back when railroads literally had fairly large balls suspended on poles, and the balls moved up and down on the poles to various positions signalling various things. So a highball meant the ball was on top, meaning yep, you can go! Thanks for posting this. Can't beat a trip that involves puking, feeling giddy, fighting, and feelin' angry. Hey Dad, can we go again? Seriously, they did great. That trip isn't as easy as it looks in the brochures.

Hey Megan, I follow your vlog and just love your family! We aspire to one day be a full timeing family as well. I happen to live in Grand Junction, CO... born and raised! Let me know if you need a tour guide, lol I suggest if you get a chance and you enjoy fresh produce, take the time to travel the scenic route through the gorgeous wine country and orchards of Palisade, CO (out skirts of Grand Junction) This time of year we have our early season peaches for canning and pie making and it is currently prime season for a variety of different cherries. As your on your way into town on I-70 if you take exit 44 you'll find yourself following the Colorado River through the back side of our own favorite cute, quaint, town full or charter and charm. The town it's self is full of farming culture and vibrancy. Before crossing back over the river you have the option to make a left hand turn to head up the hill and continue a self guided tour of luscious vineyards and breathtaking orchards with an elevated view of the valley and multiple family friendly fruit stands and tasting rooms. However I'm not sure how "RV friendly" the hill and windy roadway is.... this option might be best to visit in a family van. If you forgo the "left turn up the hill" you'll cross over the river into the briefly residential yet historical. If you take a right hand turn before passing Memorial Park and travel approximately a 1/2 mile you'll find yourself in the heart of Palisade. If your hungry I suggest The Slice of Life Bakery or sitting on the patio at the Palisade Brewery. If you are thirsty I suggest the Palisade Livery or 357 Bar and Grill and if your feeling frisky or in need of a date night I overly suggest The Peach Street Distillery but I must warn you... more than one beverage and your asking for trouble, lol You'll definitely need an Uber.... or if you're rip roaring and ready to go after you've enjoyed some famous Goat Vodka you can stumble across the tracks and past the Family Food Town for friday night karaoke at the Palisade Livery (ALWAYS a good time). Long story short we don't have a lot to offer via attractions but we make up for it heart, breathtaking valley views, and a pretty stellar community. 😁 Oh and in conclusion..... Please don't judge us by what you hear or see in Clifton area..... it's not our proudest sub area of Junction. Clifton is the equivalent to the "drunk uncle Larry" ....kind of a s**tshow but you gotta love um cuz they're family!
