i love your video. all in one - non stop. tqvm. my petunias is okay but 2 of them their leaves are getting dull. i dont know why and what to do... i hang up my petunias and only get sunlight in the morning. ... im from Malaysia.
@GardeningUpbeat5 жыл бұрын
@Kai D' Rozario , Thank you so much for the support and for your feedback, appreciate it. There could be few reasons why this may happen and those are - 1. If you have recently moved the plants from one place to another - For example - you have recently bought the plants from nursery and they were in different environment. If this is the case, there is no need to worry too much as they would adjust in their new environment very soon. 2. More water - Since they get only the morning sunlight, you would need to water them less often. Before watering, please always do a soil test. You can just touch the soil and see if it's moist or dry. Water only when you feel it's dry or if you see your plants are droopy. 3. Lack of enough sunlight - In Winter season, morning sunlight is not that strong. So, Plz make sure you rotate the pot so that all parts of plants get the enough sunlight and grow uniformly. Also, Plz remove any yellow/brown leaves as soon you spot them. 4. Lack of fertilizer - If you haven't fertilized them in last few days (15-20 days), then fertilize them once and you would see the result very soon. 5. Lack of good airflow - Since you are growing them in hanging pot, I don't think this could be the reason at all. But mentioning here because, lack of good airflow can be the reason behind lots of fungal diseases. Sorry for the long reply :-( Without knowing much details or pics, bit difficult to tell the exact reason. But I am 100% sure, it would be one of the above. You might need to fix just one or two things and I am sure, they would thrive again very soon :-) Plz also make sure to apply organic pesticide on a regular basis. Thank you and plz let me know if you have any questions and I would get back ASAP!

Great help. Thanks. One thing I would like ro know. After applying saaf all leaves become white spotted for next 15-20 days due to the fungicide which looks ugly. What do you do to remove these white residual fungicides on plant leaves?
@GardeningUpbeat4 жыл бұрын
@Noel Biswas, Glad to know you found it helpful and thank you for your feedback, appreciate it :-) Yah, it happens..and perhaps, you took more than 2 gram in 1 liter water. Anyway, you can spray just normal water to clean the leaves if you like. But again, fungicide won't be that active in that case.

Thanks a lot for reply to me. I have just purchased 3 completed plants of Petunia . My question is that , how much water should give to this plant and what should i do to more to care this plant so that i can get flowers in this Petunia plant . My next question is that , from where I can buy liquid fertilizer ?
@HomeGardenplantscare4 жыл бұрын
Hi You can water it less only when its soil is slightly dry. Keep the soil fertile. Liquid manure you can prepare at home. Keep Oijion peels in the water for 2-3 days and then dilute it in the water and put for plants. All the best and Happy Gardening .

Is petunia annual plant?and also my zinnia plant is drying, hope u remember I asked you regarding this previously....I recently bought n re potted..it's drying slowly. Shall i fertilise the plant?
@GardeningUpbeat4 жыл бұрын
@Hema Palanivel, Yah, Petunia is Annual, not perennial. Remember about your Zinnia plant. As per my experience, they actually don't like it much if we disturb their roots. Since you have repotted recently, it's not going to need fertilizer at least for next 15 days. The plant is already in stress and so it's drying. Plz allow it settle down first and till then, continue caring for it. You might want to use Fungicide once as they are very prone to fungal disease infection. Zinnia is best to grow either from seeds or seedling stage. In most cases they don't do that well if we repot at their maturity level. Good luck :-)

@taqiahmednuman23714 жыл бұрын
My seedlings have 4 leaves but they are tiny not growing more, So can i transplant or add any fertilizer ?
@GardeningUpbeat4 жыл бұрын
@TAQI AHMED NUMAN, Plz wait for some more days...Petunia takes time to grow at initial stage but once it does, it grows really very fast. At this time, your seedlings are focusing on producing more roots and so, still tiny. Just allow it some more days and then you can transplant. No need of fertilizing at this stage..but if you still want to, then you can take 1/2 teaspoon NPK 19:19:19 in 1 liter water and spray them once :-)

In my place, they stay blooming till around May-June. I believe you are looking for Perennial flowering plants :-) I would be doing one video very soon about it. Thank you!

@GardeningUpbeat4 жыл бұрын
@@kaushiksamanta8542 , they are perennials but don't bloom throughout the whole year. Moss Rose blooms in Summer and Verbena in winter.
