Sir what about the PSUs , are they a better fit for a fresher than private sector and please also tell in comparison to govt sector

For Civil Engineers, if you are in a construction PSU, then definitely its better than private sector in the beginning years. However, for civil engineers, pure government department jobs are much better in terms of autonomy in work and opportunities. After a decent experience, say 10 years, private sector beats any government sector. For electrical and mechanical, there are good companies in private sector. If you can excel there, nothing better in terms of growth. PSUs and pure government departments go hand in hand in terms of growth and opportunities. It depends on the PSU and government department

Bro atleast we young generation shouldnt think about it. Corruption is rampant in our country and yes, like in other places, cpwd me v corruption hoti hai and we are all trying our best to remove it. But its very less now as the processes have become quite transparent. I am sure in years to come, that small bit of corruption jo av exist karta hai wo v khatm ho jaega. Bro pls dont make earning bribe your inspiration to join govt department.

@believer22512 woh hamesha hi rahega bhai. Jo officer jitna jyada imandari dikhayega , woh wastab mei utna hi high level pe corrupt hota hai. Gold medalist, toppers, upsc cse toppers , aur jitne baare baare officers soch sakte ho woh poora Paisa kamane ki koshish karte hai. Abb yeah officer ke upar hai ki woh apni intelligence ka kaise istamal karta hai. Aur aisa bhi nahi hai agar aap imandar rahenge toh apke upar khatra nahi rahega. Apke office colleagues ya koi junior hi phasa dega. Aur ek aam admi jiske paas koi education nahi hota dhang ka ya job dhang ka nahi hoga toh uski life waise hi jhand hoti hai. Sarkari naukari log lete hi hai kamane ke liye.

Obviously IES itna common sense toh hona chahiye. Recruitment UPSC kar raha hai . IES has more respect compared to state AE. That is another thing ki state mei zindagi bhar posting. Aur jo nikkame home posting khojte hai unke liye IES hai bhi nahi. .
