I wasted 6 yrs of my life on a narc. He devoured all my contacts family members and has even caused a smear champaign at my place of work. I knew from initially meeting him something was off, yet, I ignored my intuition. I'm an empath that feels energy, etc. I had abilities to dream and majority of the dreams came forth. Now I can't and if I do I can't remember. I hate my ex but now I understand. He treats his son like crap. That's the only reason I let him into my house and heart bcos of his kid. Karma is real I pray I see it when it happens to that sick person

Plush17 I had the same intial reaction when I first met my ex husband. Seven years later, the discard. I too am an empath. H.D refers to my kind as a super empath or something like that. I don't hate my ex, I feel sorry for him on so many levels.I also at times, hearing HD's explanations, laugh at the absurdity of it all. I also feel concern for his current victim, she has no clue. Life has always been about the balance of ying and yang, good and evil. There is a shift happening. It must happen if human beings are to survive. If that shift is complete Narcissism will no longer exist

Thanks John Doe. Yes, I am a super empath as well. I still have some resentment for him. The job smear has happened recently. The sad part is I now know that an associated of 15 yrs, along with my sister-n-law and aunt (mom's sis) are covert, cerebral narcs as well. My ex was a covert (somatic) one. I remember being at family gatherings with them and my energy would become so low. I couldn't explain it back then, but I knew something was off. I thought it was me. I'm the classic person to speak on right vs wrong and would always look like the bad guy. The sad thing is, I began to figure things out and use my intuition when dealing with these kind; however, the damage was done regarding my reputation. The envy and jealousy they possess is mind blowing. I don't blame them anymore, nor state that I am a victim. I AM A SURVIVOR AND WILL BOUNCE BACK AND HOPING KARMA will hits full fledge. I don't no when my aunt became one, but I will tell you this. She has a demon on her like no other. I no longer feel sorry for them, because they all have a choice to change. I've grown up quickly over the past year, dealing with these demonic souls. You are correct, these are troubling times and narcissism is at an all time HIGH. Take care and blessings.

Whew! This has been a tough listen. But it has helped me! Thank you. It's been three years and I've kept going back begging him to change. He is 74 years old - I was hoping he would settle down and appreciate our life together. Not a chance!

I have my own identity. I am so use to making my own decisions and owning my own feelings. He said I am not submissive. He is tired of fighting with me. He was doing all the yelling and arguing for no apparent reason. He could not break my spirit. I am human. I have needs, wants, and desires. He kept shooting down my dreams and down playing my degree like it was worthless. He kept trying to make me late for work. I noticed he was trying to ruin and sabotage everything I built. God kept me inspite of me being naive as to what I was dealing with. He would tell me it is not about you. Who cares how you feel. You should be trying everything in your power to make me happy. It is about pleasing your man. Yes I suffered however I was able to recover and rebound. Thank you Jesus!

He did that objectifying thing very much to me :c For example i train martial arts, and one time i fainted when i was training. And i told him "I fainted today because my teacher kicked me in head to hard accidentally." But he wasn't worried at all that i got hurt, he just said "But you won't quit martial arts because of this right? Training martial arts makes your butt cute, because you do lots of kicking. Don't quit martial arts." I wasn't even thinking of quitting and that made me really sad because he wasn't worried of me, he was only worried about my butt D; And I cried because he didn't care, but he just ignored me. He did a lot of thing like that and i don't think he really cared about me at all :/ But luckily i noticed that he is a narcissist this early so i don't meet or talk to him anymore.
