I know it's just a case of pareidolia but when panning down from the window at 12:16 the figure of a bald-headed monk/druid can been seen right at the corner of the left hand wall 😃 Beautiful landscape!

The tower is 14th century but the church is definitely of 12th century date as can be seen from the south door and chancel arch...

I feel like it wouldn't be difficult for the locals to sell biodegradable ribbons or strips of coloured paper for the tree, but sadly, the sort of people who would even think to look would probably either not tie things to the tree, or would already have something organic to use.

I've spent many hours there sometimes in the early hours of the morning taking astro photos, yet to see my first ghost. I will have to set up camera traps next time.

The hippy's tie ribbon and other tatty stuff to that poor old tree and never come and take it away again , just rots or loses it's colour , basically litter it looks awful , have some respect for the countryside!! Thanks for mentioning it 👍
