Steering lock built into the frame have always been around, especially at KTM. And the ajustable steering angle as well.

Got a leftover '22 Gas Gas 350 here in the States. Absolutely a joy to ride. Can't wait to see what you do with Husky.

Gasgas is incredible, what a machine. Husky is v similar, but i have been using the different power maps and traction control which have been really good so far. All the best, Aaron Knox

I live 10 minutes from Appleyards, and have been tempted to look for another enduro bike recently… You’ve inspired me to head down, if only they were open today… 😂

Haha! We've actually just bought another one off them, the new TE300 Pro 2 stroke. Aaron KNOX

@@KnoxArmour awesome!! Would love to hear your thoughts on the difference, debating between 4 stroke and 2 stroke myself at the moment!
@KnoxArmour10 ай бұрын
@Fishter1 we'll be featuring the new 300 very soon. But initially the new 2024 tbi model is the friendliest 300 2stroke ive ever ridden. Been a bit scared of 300 tpi's in the past, theyre so snappy and powerful, but this new one is super docile and much smoother, more like a super smooth and linear 4 stroke. Its easier to ride hard enduro on it too compared to the 350. Just the right tool for the job... but 1 major major issue is the new fuel tank on 2024 models, its terrible and has a major design flaw meaning you run out of fuel with about 1/4 on a tank left in it and only get about 45 miles... so until a recall is done, its definitely worth considering. Hope that helps, Aaron

So very nearly brought one but went the 701 route so it could do more road work &has much longer service intervals, but the 350nis a awesome bit of kit good choice

Agree 701 is fantastic, brilliant off road and if we werent doing much harder stuff now, would have been perfect to keep it. Aaron KNOX

9:30 Surely if you got into a tank slapper where the forks were oscillating far enough to hit the steering stops (however much they were extended) then it would be terminal.

Course you're right, not really sure why i said that, but its a cool feature anyway 😅

looking so much forward..8 days..and i have one.. wondering about the baggs that come from the 501, which you recommend. the skitplate bottom i need as well.

Nice! What are the service intervals?

Too short... about 15 hours for each oil change. 35 hour valve check and then 135 hr for engine rebuild. Thanks, Aaron KNOX

so pretty much did you swap the 701 for the FE350? which one is better ,i am between this to machines, to be honest I like the FE better just for the way it looks and the light weight but do you think it is a good choose? i would use it 80% road , 20 off road . which one do you recommend me ? thanks , nice video
@JohannesDalenMC Жыл бұрын
Chiming in here since I've owned the 701 and now the FE350. For 80% road, definitely get the 701. The maintenance and bad road manners will quickly get tiring. The FE350 is a competition enduro.
@KnoxArmour Жыл бұрын
Agree with Johannes, if 80% road, the 701 is the king. It will tackle most stuff off road and is phenomenal trail riding bike and is great on road. FE 35o is much more focused for pure Enduro and hard off road terrain where you need a super light, super tough bike. Hope that helps, Aaron KNOX

@@JohannesDalenMC Hi , I saw your videos too , thanks for replying, when I mean 80 20 % that will be in a week probably 6 hours road and 2 hours per week as I won’t use it that much , just to commute to work 10 minutes round trip and maybe off road on weekends. So should I still get the 701 ? Thanks
@JohannesDalenMC Жыл бұрын
Yep, 100% based on the information you’ve given. The 701 is a hilariously fun bike on the road as well, the 350 not at all.

Hey Aaron or anyone who reads this comment and have an opinion on what I’m going to ask. I’ve never done a track day or any type of enduro. I ride my motorcycle daily as commuting to work. I really want to invest in doing more entertaining stuff on a motorcycle. What do you think is cheaper and easier to start/invest? A track bike or an enduro bike? I do have a SV650S which I was planning to do some track days but the problem is track days are quite an investment. Any inputs will be much appreciated.
@KnoxArmour Жыл бұрын
Hi Sergio, great question! Best thing is that you are onto getting involved in some of the best things in motorcycling, enduro and track riding! I think if you have an SV650 already, it is pretty easy in reality to get booked onto a track day with the bike you have (assuming you have or could borrow a set of leathers) and just go and have a go! Track days are fairly cheap, £150ish per day and can be cheap thrills. Enduro riding, obviously, you need an enduro bike and know somewhere to go ride it. Like all sports, the more down the rabbit hole you go, the more expensive it can get... what started for us track riding on road bikes on road tyres was pretty cheap, but now its gotten more serious, proper race bikes, expensive tyres etc, but it doesnt have to be like that. Enduro riding is probably cheaper in the long run, bikes are more reasonable, pay and play days are fairly cheap and crash damage... well the bikes are designed to be crashed, so its not much of a consideration. Doesnt really answer your question I suppose, but why not have a go at both and then decide. You could do a track day on your SV650, and also have a go at an Enduro experience centre like Mick Extance or something! Hope that helps, Aaron KNOX
