“Angers a liar he ain’t got no respect. I fell in love with my pain and I slept with my regrets. Happiness saw it happen that’s why she up and left. Joy called me a cheater said she ain’t coming back.” This is why NF will always be top 5 for me personally. I’m bad at emotion. I’m rather emotionless. NF personifies it beautifully in a way no one else can.

Watching this made me realize the whole message of the song. He put so much advice in here, so much wisdom in every line, because he wants us to 'Remember this'. The whole song is like a list of things to remember when he's gone. Things he won't have the chance to say after he's gone so he put it all down in a song so we would remember.

That's what we leave legacies behind for, either to be finished by the ones that loved and knew you best... I stumbled upon NF probably a little over a year ago with “Let You Down”. Immediately fell in love with him and went down the rabbit hole of all of his music. Here I am, a year plus later and still loving him and him being one of my favorite artists. Even had tickets to see him in concert before COVID happened. Anyways, i just love how real he is and all of his music meaningful to a tee which is something I really appreciate nowadays because it’s rare to see. There’s a lot of garbage music out these days that I only listen to a select few of artists. I’m 29 and I just recently broke up with my gf after 3.5 years back in April during quarantine. Well we had an apartment together which she physically left and I was still living in until this past Monday. Once I finally left the apartment, it truly HIT me hardcore. So I’m really dealing with that and I can totally relate to the line where he says “we waste a lot of time crying over wasted time.” I know I have to move forward and the man upstairs is in control and everything happens for a reason. I learned so much and realized a lot and I also learned a lot through Nate’s music.

WOW!!! This was one of the Best Reactions I've ever seen and I've seen many... Let me start by saying that I've been watching your videos for its been like over a year now and I enjoy your content. This reaction was Amazing and superb in so the fact that it put TEARS IN MY EYES because it made me realize how true and provoking this song and lyrics are to me with the help of you in learning untaught purpose and pursuit of our dreams and things we need to know and go through as humans. I related to NF's lessons, in which need to be understood in my life to grow and learn from, and I will take the resources you and NF have given me to and use it in my career as a independent Life Coach to be stronger at my job in which has become my personal passion. I have listened to "Remember This" so much even before I saw you react to it, I thought it was a good and meaningful song, but you put it on a whole new level for me of relate-ability and it compelled me to contemplate life lessons and ways of thinking and knowledge that is important to realize even further then I have previously thought about. The way you broke down the words with detail on how allot of people see and understand the pursuit of happiness is unmatched. I appreciate the way you talked about the musicality and the reasoning and the meaning of NF's words and how it all comes together relating to philosophy and way of life. I just wanted to say THANK YOU ! for all that you do, being true to yourself, and helping others in life like me to enjoy who and what we are and how to become better versions of ourselves... "Mistakes can make you grow, that doesn't mean you're friends. Who you are is up to you, don't leave it up to them." - I feel like he personified "mistakes" like sometimes we are inclined to be too judgemental and let our mistakes define us. But of course I agree with the lesson you highlighted too!

I don't know what you mean? Like you can't rap it but why? Things like the "fast" parts of "Paid my Dues" or "Leave me alone" are harder even though they are pretty easy. Could do it after I kinda knew the lyrics (maybe 8-10 mins)

Great job Brother, big fan of your music and reactions. Cool hearing someone who actually has real life experience in not only writing/rapping but in production too. You need to buy some studio time with Tommee Profitt. It’d be dope to hear u with a cinematic/orchestral beat. Not sure if you’ve done Grindin ft Marty but it’s a cool fun vid of them on tour. Also Marty “The One With My Friends” ft NF and others(friends) is pretty dope.

I REALLY appreciate how you intelligently break down the lyrics...these are truly life's lessons to live by. Surround yourself with people who challenge your thoughts/opinions, because true growth comes when you step out of your comfort zone. Money should never be the goal, just the effect of doing what you love and giving your best. So much more, I could go on and on. Incredible reaction, as always!! 👏 🙌

Love this reaction...Definitely one of my favorites! NF has such a passion and something that everyone can relate to...And I do agree about artists should not be boxed into a solitude life because they are famous. They deserve respect and boundaries like everyone else...Never been one of those to race for an autograph or whatever...There's a place and a time. I wish more understood this. Thank you for your breakdowns! Loving your new stuff as well! Keep it up KnoxHill!
