In the rap, Ruka with the bangs says, She hit a home run and I believe that has something to do with their song batter up. Also Ahyeon says she's not 5 or 7, she's 10/10. The group was supposed to be 7 people and then it went to a 5 person group and back to a 7 person group through out evaluations.

I suspect we will have to wait a little while for BM to drop something edgier or spicier. Despite their insane level of talent, most of them are still minors, and that will limit how close they will get to the edge with their music. But they are top tier talented!

The rap lyrics aren't that bad if you look into them. for example the batter up reference or the line with the 5 and 7 following the last evaluation. But of course there's nothing crazy lyrically here, but it's not supposed to be a message song, but an atmospheric song

Puk puk pa pedal to the medal?" Is goood for u? 😂 Im honestly just turned off by Asa's rap there cause i was expecting more than that. I was flabbergasted by the amount of people praising the rap part. I mean the flow helps, but the lyrics is bad. Praising it just because it's an idol u like that help made that lyric is low btw

@@chsgsgfftttafthe 'click clack' is referred to the Boombayah rap lyrics sang by Jennie, and the 'pedal to the metal' referred to Jikjin by Treasure and See U Later by Blackpink it's a YG tradition to use parts of the lyrics of their song to other song. U wouldn't know if u don't stan YG for a long time. I find it great they still keep that tradition tho.

YG's sound formula is always there, Baby Monster is a total package the rap and vocals are really monster but I hope they will really find their own unique sound by letting them showcase their own sound and lyricism. To be honest I can still hear the Blackpink sound in their music.

Song was recorded befor Asa was participating. Okey, debut songs are record ahead of time so the group can practise for a long time. This song wouldve been their debute song. Ahyeon got sick... Batterup that was supposed to crop later on ess moved up. There Asa was participating in production. The delay on debute happened because batterup wasn't recorded. That's why Ahyeon had to rerecorded after she got well. If she was on the track YG didn't have spend so much to re-record . It makes sense if you know YG and use logic with available information ❤ Also the boom boom pow is reference to BIGBANG TOP. Hands up. Of you only knew.

Definitely agree with your comments of the lyricism..i was thoroughly disappointed with them giving sound effect lines (bom bom pow, click clack, vroom vroom) lol but yeah the writers could have given them more bars and actual words considering the capabilities of the rap line..and the fact that we only get like a few songs from yg giving baby monster their comebacks just for some nonsensical lyrics just adds to it / : still a good comeback nonetheless👏🏼

Maybe the lyrics isn't as great when translate in English, but I think when it comes to knowing the Korean language and it's meaning. I definitely has more of an OOF to it if you know and speak Korean. Jas and Andy's reaction helped with the lyrics explanation a bit.
