Since you made it to Kakamega town, you should head to Mumias and visit the only monarchy in Kenya, the home of the Nabongo (King). Just like the Luo of Kisumu, the Luhya who are the indigenous people of Kakamega eat quail they call it (tsindu). They also use a lot of groundnuts in their food and if you like chicken, this is the place to get a meal with it.

Bro in Kenya such places like kakamega we call them towns. According to Kenyan Standards such places have not qualified to be called cities. There are many such towns even bigger by far than kakamega, but still they can't be called cities they are jxt towns

Oh Know Kakamega has more space than Kisumu, is luck of investment and poor leadership was the problem, now Gov Oparanya did a good job and Gov Barasa will take it next level.

@@andeyo1 Kisumu is located at a plateau next to a massive lake. It has more space than Nairobi to expand to. Kisumu has the potential to host an urban population of over 5 Million people comfortably since it has an abundance of fresh water & flat lands.
