I said it before and I will keep saying it, Dakar is miles ahead of other West African cities. I believe they have the best BRT service and one of the best Railway system in the entire Africa. Good clean city. CBD not congested by road side sellers like most Africa cities. Little traffic and 24/7 electricity.

Senegal is well ahead of most Countries in West Africa.They are organized,Food sufficient, Infrastructure top notch,Despite they are 98% Muslims they take care of the 2% Christians and are very tolerant religion wise.They wear their culural attires with pride.Their Democracy is enviable and have remained true to what the population want.They have built all this simply by their Cash crop of Groundnut, Millet,Rice etc.Corruption is not prevalent and they are supper friendly.Can you imagine if they had Oil?Please also visit Goree Island to see the Slave Port. I wish you guys can make it Cape Verde.Kudos for a job well done.Our youth can now travel easily like you have done. Travelling is knowledge acquired.I can't wait to be back in Dakar.

As a Ghanaian and a well educated and well traveled one, I think Dakar is nice but NOT better than ghana. Ghana is ahead of Senegal and accra is much better than Dakar. Nigeria ,ghana and cote dvoire are the only 3 developed west African countries

FYI electrification rate in Dakar 99%, Accra less than 70%, sanitation 97%, Accra less than 75% ( public defacation is still a thing in Accra), running water 96%, no borehole in Dakar, borehole all over in Accra. Median income in Dakar is 2x that of Accra, highest in West Africa. In fact an entry level public teacher in Dakar earn more than a tenured teacher in Accra. 87% of Senegalese households can afford a $30000 house versus a 54 % of Ghanaians. The 4 biggest cities in Senegal are linked by expressway going to be 9 out of the 12 biggest city within 3 years versus 0 in Ghana. All the numbers you see online are government #, exp. Accra with 3 millions peoples is officially richer than Luanda Angola over 8 millions people (go check Luanda and you will know it's a lie). Talking about health care officially Ghana is ahead of Senegal, we have 25 free public dyalises center versus 17 mix public private center in Ghana for 2x the population size. Chemotherapy is free in Senegal with more Chemo center not in Ghana. Your presidential candidate Mahama is proposing reproductive health if he is elected, we already have it in Senegal, we even do kidney transplant with 100% Senegalese team, in Ghana you are assisted by Indians...... so on..... please come back to reality for your good.

Those are ghetto beaches I will suggest you to go visit voile d’or Monaco plage .saly . Riu Baobab in pointe sarene and the pink lake thanks for promoting Senegal

It's true for some beaches, they can certainly do a better job cleaning them up but other beaches are supper clean too. depends where you go and the season you happen to be there.
