The face lighting up could just be a spark of recognition, because he didn’t recognize her at first. When you’re in the dentist chair just make conversation. He talked to her about her family she should’ve asked about his. Also, maybe he was just interested in her brother because he was always their point of conversation; he probably just wants a friend.

I’ve worked with dentists most of my life and some are much more friendly than others. The ones that are really friendly are friendly with everyone! I would not ask him out! If you really want to see him again, find a reason to go back to the office for a procedure… buy some product or toothpaste. Definitely need to do some more research for sure!

With dentists or any professionals where customer service is a priority, you CANNOT trust any interaction with someone while they’re working cause it is their job to make you feel like you’re getting attention from them. First move has to be a non-one-on-one way to meet up in public (group, party, family get together, etc) so you can get some signs from them while they are not acting in their professional role.
