At age 76, I've never heard another voice like hers. It has such a warm tone at all pitches, even the whistle range, combined with mastery of every little detail, and amazing breath control, regularly doing 14-15 seconds even at high volume on a single breath. Then she has her trademark squeak transitions, which many voice coaches have said they wished they could do. The more you listen to her, the more you realize what a great singer she is. I wish she could just do covers of every great song out there, because there is nothing she can't sing the definitive version of.
