6:24 It was at this moment, Vince FELT THE POWAH! Hey I think you guys should try out the Dewalt DCF894. It's only a mid range impact in terms of torque, but it has some pretty cool features. It has high and low torque settings, but also a smart mode. It stops when a fastener is finished, and slows down when loosening to prevent runaway. I'm planning to get one for automotive use, but seems it might be nifty for lag bolts or something like bolting joists together as well.
@hridd1

The DCF894 is great. It's small enough to get into a lot of tight spaces. I'm glad I went with it rather than the 899.
@802Garage

@@802Garage It is overkill for general automotive use but it would have been handy for a stubborn, rusted axle and axle nut I had to deal with. The 894 wasn't announced when I was looking at the 899 at the time.

But I do have a question...what's your opinion about the Ryobi 40 mowers and trimmers compared to the Kobalt 40 volt mowers and trimmers. I use a Cub Cadet riding mower so the 40 volt would only be for trimming when done using my rider....I value your opinion and Thanks!

kobalt gives you the option of a 40 or 80 volt mowing options. I owned a Ryobi 40 volt push mower and a weed eater/blower combo and it worked fine except I had a battery failure after just a few uses. I would be tempted to look into the 80 volt system also.

Just bought this set earlier this month for 120 from offer up. Ive let my brother, his friend, and my dad use it. They all compliment on how nice it feels and the power it has. Loving kobalt tools. Yes it's a bit heavy however it sure is durable and tough. Ithas taking a good amount of beating from the previous owner yet its still going very strong.👌😏 I feel that kobalt is most likely the best bang for your buck when it comes to Good quality tools.

I’m a technician and I use mine all day long and it holds its own haven’t had any issues and haven’t found a bolt it can’t take off. For the price of $200-$250 it’s a no brainer 5 year tool warranty 3 year battery warranty and option to add 2 year replacement plan warranty for another $30. Compare that to snap on cordless impact with a 2 year warranty for $780. I would pick a Kobalt any day.

Hey guys love the videos! Quick question. Is there any videos on using smaller amp hour batteries with cordless impact wrenches and what the outcome is versus a larger output battery? I ask because kobalt says this impact wrench will work with all the 24V kobalt batteries. I currently have a kobalt driver that came with a 1.5 amp hour battery, but will it work in a larger impact wrench? I understand the lower amp hour battery would be lower output but how much, and would it damage the battery? I can't find any reviews showing a impact with different battery sizes. Thanks again for all the videos they are awesome!

Yes, I totally agree. My comment was mainly of its size and not weight as I have both the dewalt and Milwaukee fuel 1/2 “ mid torques. They are both smaller and lighter, approx 5.5 and 5 pounds with 5amp batteries respectively. The fuel is just slightly larger than my gen 3 impact and the dewalt is slightly bulkier than the fuel. I like them both and I’m yet to find something either haven’t handled easily enough as well. I agree with you as to what I’d rather hold and for basic home, auto and construction and the Milwaukee high torque is just big, heavy, and overkill. Cheers.
